   We sold our home through Burnett's Estate Agents and the experience couldn't have been better.<br><br>When we were thinking about selling our home we met with several estate agents who felt pushy - so finding Burnett's was a breath of fresh air - as from the very beginning they demonstrated a genuine care for our home and the sale being a success on our terms. They took time to get to know our home and show case it in a way that confirmed they understood what we loved about our home.<br><br>Selling a house and moving can be incredibly stressful, but Burnett's made the whole process feel straight forward.    They over valued the house by £50k therefore they took longer to sell it. Once it was reduced to a better price it sold. I didn't think the write up explained that the house needed modernisation I had to ask for it to be changed. However when I threatened to take the house off the market and modernise it myself a new sales assistant took over the sale she was more proactive and found a buyer.... Read more

   I approached KMJ immediately when i decided to sell my property as they were very local to me and i’d heard positive things in the past, they’re a well respected estate agent within my village and have a reputation of having a good knowledge of the area, something i thought was important in respect of the property i was selling relative to its location.<br>I can honestly say that my experience with them was first class. From Marks first valuation visit which i felt was honest and realistic , to the expedient listing and admin to get it market , securing an offer within 7 days they absolutely outperformed my expectations.<br>The conveyancing process to my mind took an age, and i felt particularly anxious throughout, but KMJ in this area particularly excelled, Suzanne in sales progression was absolutely fantastic, she was quick to assist with any enquiries, often responding within minutes, tirelessly chased the chain, and i never felt for one minute that she wasn’t on top of the whole process. I cannot thank KMJ and all of their team involved enough for making a process which was particularly stressful for me a considerably easier one knowing that they had everything in hand.    We bought our house in 2021 through Nicola Bowler at Foresters and her attention and support was excellent at that time. When our circumstances changed in April 2026 and we were selling the house it was a "no brainer" who we would ask to act for us in the sale . Yet again Nicola and all her team were amazing, and she very quickly achieved a sale for us. She guided the whole process very carefully, and when the property we were proposing to buy hit complications, she and Toby very quickly arranged a rental property for us so that our sale could complete.    Thomas…rude, arrogant and, judging by the approach, seemingly more suited to being an ’80s double-glazing salesman than a modern estate agent.<br><br>Reading through some of the other reviews, I noticed a recurring theme in the responses: unhappy reviewers appear to be dismissed as “competitors” or “bots”. So let me make this very clear from the outset, my family and I are neither. We are genuine, serious buyers who were interested in a property on Lansdowne Road marketed at £410,000.<br><br>The agency proudly states that it works seven days a week and late hours, yet when we asked whether a 6pm viewing could be accommodated around our family commitments, Thomas seemed genuinely astonished at the suggestion. Considering estate agents earn commission by actually selling property, I would have thought accommodating a serious buyer at 6pm was hardly an outrageous request.<br><br>Perhaps the most revealing part of the conversation, however, was Thomas referring to a £410,000 property as a “small sale”.<br><br>That tells you everything.<br><br>If I were the vendor, I would be extremely interested to know that the person instructed to market my £410,000 home apparently considers the sale too insignificant to warrant much enthusiasm.<br><br>For buyers, the message seems equally clear: unless your budget reaches whatever figure Thomas personally deems worthy of his time, perhaps adjust your expectations accordingly.<br><br>Once again, before the predictable response appears, no, we are not competitors. No, we are not bots. We are a genuine family, with genuine funds, who were genuinely interested in purchasing one of your client’s properties.<br><br>In fact, the experience has been so poor that I am seriously considering knocking on the vendor’s door and explaining personally why a serious buyer has been put off by the very agent being paid to sell their home.<br><br>It all feels rather less like a professional estate agency and rather more like an ’80s window salesman deciding whether the commission is worth getting out of his chair for.<br><br>£410,000 might be “small” to Thomas.<br><br>But I suspect the vendor losing a serious £410,000 buyer won’t find it quite so funny...
