To a new landlord to be she was knowledgeable, informative and also very understanding at finding ‘the right’ person. We worked closely for 4.5 years until today I sold it to a new landlord. I would recommend Steph and her team 100%

Adam, Ella and their team add a personal touch and great professionalism to the difficult and emotional process of selling your home. The whole team was very communicative, fair and pleasant to deal with all the way through the process, from valuing our property to after-sales service. We got to know them through our neighour's recomendation and we would only use them again and I can whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone with a property to sell.

The costs were clearly communicated from the outset which wasn’t the case with some other agencies we contacted. Communication was excellent and they handled all negotiations well. We were kept well informed as the sale progressed. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

There were significant complications in the purchase which resulted from problems with our sale but Richard was able, through his patient and attentive approach, to keep everyone motivated to conclude the transaction. Whilst he didn't deal with our sale we would certainly use him in the future should we ever decide to sell our property. Although acting for the seller he made sure that we were kept informed about the latest position and was courteous and professional in all of his dealings with us without being intrusive.

28th Mar 2024 (23 days ago)We sold our house last year through your move darlington and were delighted with the service and support we received every step of the way. Due to a change of circumstances during the sale we were also looking for a property to rent and as we were so happy with everyone we had already dealt we decided to use them for our rental. The sales and lettings department worked fantastically together and managed to keep the sale of our house going and found us an excellent rental property. I have spoken with Andrea in maintenance on a number of occasions and no matter whether its a small problem or something bigger she is always happy to help, has jobs organised and carried out to a high standard and in a very reasonable time frame. Her communication is excellent and thorough in all cases.

5th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)Extremely Disappointing Customer service. All department options available on the phone number actually transfer to voicemails of the responsible heads of said departments. They don't return phone calls - Been trying for a week now. Smaller companies have managed to arrange for virtual assistants who clearly are more effective at ensuring call-backs are actioned.

10th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)It's fantastic to see a local lad with the vision, ambition and determination to develop a thriving business. From our initial meeting with Ryan, it was clear he understood the housing marking inside out and it was a no-brainer to make the switch from our original agent. Despite the house taking longer to sell than either of us anticipated, Ryan and his team worked relentlessly to support us with bringing people through the door and provided regular insights and updates on the market and our own position within it. Though we didn't use it personally, the supported viewings were just one service that set Ryan James apart from their competitors - it was evident that the importance of customer service was paramount to both Ryan and his staff. That is where (I believe) Ryan has excelled, he has recruited a team with the same growth mindset and who understand his vision perfectly. Our initial interactions were with Ellie, who was an absolute joy to deal with. Whatever the conversation, every phone call with Ellie left me feeling like I'd received my daily dose of positivity. She is the epitome of perfect customer service, I wish her sunny nature and enthusiasm could be bottled for tough days! Further along in the process I had the pleasure of dealing with Gill, who had our best interests at heart at every turn. An excellent communicator and our voice of reason, she was a first-class negotiator who encouraged me to consider the questions others would have left unsaid. Stepping into the housing market ring, there is no-one I would rather have had in my corner, she is the ultimate warrior and deserves every ounce of my praise and respect for being the consummate professional, both in and out of hours! There is no doubt that Ryan James is a brand that is a serious contender in it's field and one that I am grateful to have had the pleasure to deal with. Although I have no desire to move again any time soon, I look forward to watching this company grow from strength to strength and wish them every success in doing so.
