30th May 2026 (28 days ago)Adam is a lovely man and liked them showing the buyers around. I was disappointed I never saw our home advertised on Facebook but never found the time to ring and ask why. Was very impressed with communication with the agent and liked that we got feedback on the visits.

5th Oct 2020 (5 years ago)If you are renting in Bishop Auckland, go elsewhere. Rude, unprofessional and not interested at all. They allowed a vulnerable tenant to live in a complete and utter pigsty with no roof, wall to wall mould, with bags of human waste and needles filling the yard and have consistently negated their legal obligations. Thankfully, the tenant has since moved out, these clowns won't be laughing when this gets to court. I cannot recommend this shambles of a company to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
14th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)At start the agents were bang on. But once I'd got with them the original agent passed a lot of things onto other staff and I had to keep ringing for problems. At the point of it being sold they never even rang. I found out by ringing them and it was a case of ..well it's sold we thought you knew! Not good enough.

Did not listen to us about sale price, sent people who couldn’t afford the mortgage, poor quality feedback, not making appointments at requested times, even phoned 2 days after we had moved to see if we had exchanged!DO NOT USE THEIR AUCTION SERVICE!were on the verge of changing agents when we struck lucky thanks to Covid!
2nd Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Very impressed with time keeping and overall process. The only small issue was that I asked for no FOR SALE board on the property. One appeared. I asked for it to be removed. After a few days it was taken away, but leaving rawl plugs in the stone wall near the front door.

17th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)The valuation was great, the woman was lovely and photos were excellent. The communication stopped after a few weeks. The house was listed with 2 agents, when I did a viewing with the other party they said about how they'd tried to contact holbrooks and couldn't get through. I received a call about a viewing after no contact for weeks and told them the there had been an offer on the house and was sols stc, the woman rudely said you could have told us. I would have if there had been any contact! Overall wouldn't recommend them.

Michael has very good knowlege and was able to also refer us on to other processionals within the industry. Praise would definitely use again
