5th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Disorganised viewing and poor customer experience We visited a property through Tanners Properties Nottingham, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The agent arrived late, and multiple groups were allowed to view the property at the same time. It felt more like an auction than a proper viewing, with no structure or consideration for individual applicants. The agent made little effort to engage—there was no proper introduction, no guidance during the viewing, and he simply stood aside while people walked around. At the end, he briefly mentioned the application process, which involves completing forms that go very deep into personal details. I understand background checks are necessary, but the level of information requested felt excessive and intrusive. It’s also surprising that a company operating this way doesn’t manage proper appointment slots or a more professional system. Background checks could easily be handled through established services like Experian or ClearScore, rather than putting all the burden on applicants. It gave the impression they are trying to cut costs at the expense of customer experience. Although the property itself was good, the service was poor enough that we decided not to proceed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.

He made the full process very smooth, proactively addressing our needs and communicating throughout. I would without any hesitation recommend Innes England and they will be my number one choice if I require any assistance with commercial properties in the future.
8th Mar 2019 (7 years ago)Awful and a complete waste of time, we were running slightly late because of really bad traffic so had pushed our viewing back to 5pm and arrived at the property a few minutes before hand, we went to see if someone was in the property but no answer so called the agent back to which they said "we waited till 5 but we're now back at the office so we'd have to rearrange" I was curious as I said to the agent it's actually 5pm now so how did someone stick around till 5? They then hung up ..... Safe to say I feel bad for whoever is selling that property as this is horrific service. I'm not best pleased that it took us 45 mins to get there to be let down. I will not be wasting my time with that company again

19th Nov 2023 (2 years ago)We've had a fantastic experience using the "Home Away" Company to rent a house.We recently moved to the UK and "Home Away" gave us professional and prompt service to find a house.After rental , they give excellent service and give quick response to any inquiries. I was very sceptical when I signed up to use "Home Away" because the costs involved left other rental agencies standing. The process was trouble free from start to finish. The helpful guides, reminders, prompts and signposting made for a smooth journey. You can’t go wrong using "Home Away". They far surpass my expectations. Our experience with the management team has been great since the beginning. Mr. Adithya and his team are very helpful and responsive and they are trying their very best to provide a great service

1st Jul 2022 (3 years ago)Fantastic and professional team! They are honestly the best agents in the area, I have such a great experience with them. They do care of the tenants, and they work so hard to solve any issues and to they make you feel like home. Since my initial enquiry, they have been extremely helpful, easy to contact and so welcoming. They are super approachable, and they communicate and deal with their customers in a friendly and professional manner from the start. The rent fees of their properties are also generously priced. First class service, cannot recommend them enough!

3rd May 2022 (4 years ago)After 38 years in our house we were not aware how hands on estate agents were. Pygott & Crone we’re very professional but friendly and helpful from the start. The man assigned to us was always there to answer questions or visit if needed.

They have been extremely helpful and approachable throughout my purchase and I would certainly recommend them anybody who is entering the house market. 7th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Sold my house through Woodstead Sales & Lettings in Nottingham and was really happy with ho it all went. They gave advice on pricing, handled the viewings well and kept me in the loop the whole way through. It wasn’t completely smooth (as these things never are) but they were always on hand to help sort things and keep it moving. Would 100% recomend them if you’re selling in Nottingham ??????
