I chose Moores to sell my property because of their local knowledge and national reach. They kept me informed regarding the sale of my home at every step and I believe that they achieved a price that was acceptable to both me and the purchaser. An excellent service and, most importantly, a service that achieved an appropriate sale price. Highly recommended!
Beware - Prior to moving into the rented property the agented promised me all the world to get me through the door, carpet cleaning, new carpets (in some rooms), full professional clean and other small adjustments to me done to the house... NONE of this was carried out. After the first 6 months in the property I received a letter from Moores increasing my rent and demanding that I sign another 6 month contract and pay an admin fee of £50 for the pleasure (Not once was did it state that this was optional until I called in that same day).
After moving out, Moores demanded that I have the carpets cleaned, the house fully professionally cleaned and oven professionally cleaned - which adds up to a grand total of £450. Which I would have been happy to pay had the house been clean when I moved in, the carpets been cleaned as agreed, the oven had been cleaned and the fact that I had spent two days solid cleaning the house, to the point where it was cleaner when I had moved in.
Luckily enough I have pictures to prove that state of the house when I moved in, although Moores are now dragging their heals with the DPS, forgetting to send in key information, fill out the right forms and taking the full allotted time between each stage. This is either due to incompetence or snide behaviour, I feel the latter.
Make sure you have pictures of everything when you move in and everything in writing. Luckily enough I do, else this could have gone very differently.

The staff are always friendly and professional. When renewal for my tenancy comes up they are always fast and efficient. If any issues arise regarding maintenance they are quick to rectify the situation.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Visited the Oakham branch and was ignored for a good 5 mins before I was acknowledged .
2 women were chatting about non work related issues and not once turned to greet me. Had to wait for a younger girl to get off the phone before I was spoken to. If this is how they treat all potential buyers then goodness knows how they make the sale.
Good job for Gilbert Thomas down the road who were excellent.
Maybe you should visit them for some hints and tips on customer service.

Peter impressed us on our first meeting with him and came up with an effective marketing strategy. Charlotte ensured that within the first day of the property being on the market we were inundated with viewings and communicated these with us immediately so that we were able to prepare the house. Once the house had sold (for above asking price), Zoe was fantastic in pushing through the sale, always keeping a clear line of communication to ensure the sale ran smoothly.
Our house sold (STC) within a week and we exchanged seven weeks later. We couldn't ask for more from this fantastic team.
