We recently purchased a property through Hamptons Caterham, and I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received, especially from Carrie. From the very start, she was a pleasure to deal with—professional yet real, striking that perfect balance of being approachable without trying too hard, which is something we really appreciated. Throughout the process, Carrie was always incredibly responsive, replying to emails on the same day and making an effort to call back promptly if she was unavailable. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for us, making the whole buying experience remarkably simple and stress-free. What stood out most was that our conversations felt genuine. I wasn’t just dealing with an estate agent—Carrie’s approach felt much more personal, which made the entire experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Her professionalism, combined with a real personal touch, is what set Hamptons apart for us. Frequent emails and was kept in contact with frequently throughout the whole sale process. Huge thank you to Sophie who worked hard to push our sale so we could complete by Christmas! We will be using Cubitt and West when we sell and move again. Thank you :)
16th Sep 2024 (19 weeks ago)This is a addition to my previous review left 2 years ago. We have bought the property through Clarendons and I can not recommend them enaugh. Especially Jordan who was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much for him and he did everything in order for our sale to be completed as soon as possible. Professional yet very friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with Clarendons, everyone was friendly and professional. I was very surprised when moved in to receive a welcome box with goodies inside. Never seen any other agencies doing that.

28th Dec 2024 (28 days ago)I bought through Alan De Maid … David was exceptional in his approach to helping us secure one of the nicest houses on the Park with back to back viewings over a one day period & even saving the best house until last…..Making us smile along. We have been here now over a number of years and have recommended friends / family to use only ADM whether selling or buying. Our Long term plan is to sell and downsize and I know that I will use them without a shadow of doubt to facilitate this task believing in their expertise in handling these desirable properties is a cut above the rest & in this area they have clients on their books just waiting!! Through the process I’ve interacted with a few agency’s around the town and honest he’s head and shoulders above the rest - knowledgeable, helpful, responsive and friendly. The KF machine runs really efficiently and I’m certainly a happy customer.

Our viewing was carried out by Stuart and was the most relaxed and client-centred viewing we have ever had. Then following the acceptance of our offer Lucy took the reins and what could have been a very stressful process was made so much easier thanks to Lucy. She did the chasing, the phoning around and kept us at ease throughout. Thank you to everyone at Platform Property.

4th Jan 2025 (21 days ago)I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience selling my house than the one I had with Paul from Moveli. As someone who himself lives nearby, he deeply understood the local market and how best to communicate the most salable features of the property to potential bodies. I really appreciated his friendly, down-to-earth approach and constant availability, even on the weekends. Being able to rely his advice and expertise from start to finish made the whole process incredibly smooth. In the end, he was able to negotiate an offer that was significantly over the asking price. I would highly recommend him as the premier estate agents in the ‘between the commons’ area.
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

9th Jan 2025 (16 days ago)Zac and Damian were a pleasure to work with. Unlike a previous experience with a high street agent their attention to detail during the marketing process was faultless. During a difficult period for the housing market they furnished us with 4 genuine offers and although 2 fell through ( buyers change of circumstances) Maison handled the negotiations with transparency and integrity in all cases. Essentially there are no surprises with these guys which is exactly what you want but difficult to find in today's market. Very highly recommended.

9th Nov 2024 (11 weeks ago)*Brilliant* We chose to move to Monocrome homes after being very disappointed with a larger agent and wanted an independent touch. We are so glad we made the move, the service provided was excellent from start to finish. The photographs, marketing and communication from Ishmail and Zoe were second to none. They provided us with realistic insight to the market and demonstrated they were working for us. We wish we had known about them sooner!
