We had a very good experience with Platform Property, working with Stuart, Yasmine, Toni and Juliet through the process of looking for, visiting, and making an offer on a property. We were impressed from the start by the PP team's accuracy in finding properties that matched our criteria, and then by their consistently friendly, professional approach. Hearing Yasmine's cheerful greeting on the line always added a bit of brightness to the day, sometimes much needed!
Sadly some unexpected problems left us unable to go through with our hoped-for purchase – but the manner in which Stuart (and Toni) handled this and helped us and others in the chain was truly exemplary and left us feeling a lot less dreadful than we would have without the understanding, practical knowledge and genuine kindness of the whole team. It demonstrated well that it's not just how the successes are celebrated but how the failures are dealt with that tells you what's really going on, and in this Platform Property's attitude impressed me greatly.

Exceptional experience of Platform Property from our recent (December 2023) property sale. They are absolutely the #1 agency to work with in the area:
- Professional team of attentive staff
- Extremely proactive and on the case, all of the team doing viewings came round to see the property and talk with us
- Superb post sales support, vital to get things to exchange and completion
- Fully focused on the residential sales cycle (they are not also worrying about commercial sales or rentals)
We have nearly 20 years experience of buying and selling in the area, having dealt with most other agents, Platform Property are in a league of their own.
For our most recent sale we did consider a DIY alternative (eg Purple Bricks or similar), however we are 100% confident we would not have gone from putting out house on the market to completion in the 10 weeks we did. The PP commissions involved are nothing compared to the reduction in sale price we would have needed to generate the footfall of viewers required and get things moving. With Platform Property we had viewers and the an offer almost straightaway.

After five years in our home we decided to sell, using Platform as our agent after the amazing service we had from them, from day one as detailed below.
Our house was a difficult property to market with its own unique quirks but built to a outstanding level and Platform reassured us throughout that for the right buyer, it would be perfect and eventually it was!
This review is really to shout out Toni in the after sales team. Toni is a rare breed of agent that truly makes you feel so comfortable talking to her you forget this is meant to be a stressful period. She kept us up to date throughout, kept our spirits up and in general was a pleasure to work with and is a real asset to Platform. We’re moving out of the area that Platform cover now and I can honestly say, there isn’t another estate agent quite like them, although I was there was!

Tom is changing the way people think of estate agents.
From our very first conversation Tom was friendly, accommodating and professional, securing us a viewing within just a few hours (and persuading his seller to see us at short notice!). Once we'd put an offer in and had it accepted Dan kept us up to date throughout the whole process, letting us know what was happening with the chain, talking to solicitors and generally keeping us sane- all this and he wasn't even our estate agent!

Everything about Platform Property is absolutely spot on, from the very first phone call to the emails after we moved in, everything was done professionally, easily and so efficiently.
We had purchased our house through Platform Property 3 years earlier and were ready to move on to something bigger and we had absolutely no hesitation in contacting Platform Property to get a valuation done. After we met Stuart and he spent time not just getting to know our house, but also getting to know us as a family, we had absolutely no doubt that we would use Platform Property to sell our house, we didn't even need to meet any other estate agents. Stuart was friendly, professional and really knowledgable about our area and also the type of house we owned and the best way to market it.
Everything from there on was smooth and quick and nothing was ever too much for Stuart and the team, they got everything arranged in good time without putting any pressure on us and in true Platform Property style, they got us 2 viewings within a couple of days and an offer from one of these viewings & SOLD, in less than a week, it was amazing, we could not believe it.
Fortunately for us, the house we had seen and already fallen in love with, was on the market with Platform Property as well and so Stuart went straight from sealing the sale of our house, to sealing the purchase of our dream home - all in one Sunday afternoon. It was amazing and it was expertly managed by Stuart.
Then comes the long hard slog of solicitors, dealing with the chain and all that panful stuff... but this is where Platform Property really come into their own, they have a secret weapon called Toni who is an absolute star! I can't say enough good things about Toni and how much hard work she puts in on the Aftersales side of things, I genuinely don't know how she does it. We had worked with Toni when we purchased our house the first time and she was a big reason for us coming back to Platform Property again.
Toni constantly kept us up to date and was in contact with ourselves, our buyers, our sellers, all our solicitors and the other estate agents in the chain, at least once a week - you don't really need to chase Toni as you know she is on top of it and will always be in touch to keep you up to date, even if she has no real news. She really does make a very stressful time a lot less stressful and it is an invaluable skill.
Even when things got pressured and tight at the end, Toni kept going and was chasing everyone daily, making sure everything got done when it needed too. Then once it's all done and you get to pick up your keys, she is there to greet you with her big smile and she seems genuinely excited to see you enter your new home.
The whole team at Platform Property are amazing, anyone I ever spoke to when calling was knowledgable of who I was as a customer and status of my house move - I would highly recommend you use Platform Property, they are quite simply the best around and also very good value, especially considering the level of service you get.

Platform Property stood out right from the start because of their amazing opening hours - seven days a week, 12 hours a day - and their brilliant website. To make absolutely sure we have found the right agent to sell the house of my husband and his brother’s mother we interviewed every big estate agent in Oxted to see how well they would answer all our questions and Platform Property excelled. George, my initial contact was very professional, respectful, friendly, honest and highly enthusiastic. We had several telephone conversations before we chose Platform Property and not once he showed any sing of impatience. Having moved from LeGrys, we were very pleased by the way the sale of our house in Edenbridge was handled> Having got the property lists with excellent photographs, they were able to get the Sold board up quickly having identified the right potential buyer.
The advice they were able to give not only on the sale of our own home, but also on the purchase of our next home, was very valuable to us. We were kept informed at every stage of the process with details of all viewings confirmed in writing in advance, and we never had to chase for any feedback following a viewing, which helped to make the whole process of selling our home relatively stress free.

Really difficult one to rate as the sale was made very swiftly and professionally up to offer stage. Stuart and George were efficient, in regular contact and got us a good number of quality viewings, resulting in a lot of interest. However, from agreeing the sale through to exchange and completion was less than satisfactory. It was a difficult sale but poor information or no information, being asked whether we wanted information sharing in full with the chain when our objective should be the same...to move house...made us feel like information was being withheld from us. Asking more than one question at once usually resulted in only one being answered, so we were in constant email communication trying to get complete answers to queries. It was a painful process to get any details beyond what we could supply regarding the status of the sale which caused a huge amount of stress over a seven month period and particularly in the final couple of months, nearly losing us our dream house. Never want to have to go through that again. But would it have been different with another agent? I really don’t know.

Look at the other reviews of buyers - that will tell you a great story - the type of story you want to hear from people who will buy your home. I can tell you what it was like to have them as agents in our sale.
In our experience, through the entire process of selling our home, Platform have been excellent. From the creation of the listing, through to arranging and organising the visits, and finally, to finalising the sale and working with solicitors to complete, the folks at Platform have been friendly, professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. We dealt with many agencies when looking at other houses to buy and found none to be as good as Platform.
Platform recognise the importance of the internet in the way people buy and sell homes today but also provide a full service agency - really, the best of both worlds. You add to this that they are fantastic value for money - well, we've been delighted.

We took something of a risk by following his advice on pricing, however were rewarded by a large number of offers which clearly established the value of the property. We encountered several unforeseen issues during the process but at all times felt that the Platform team were available for advice and they went above and beyond what was strictly their role in order to assist us both up to completion and afterwards. We signed up with Platform Property on the 21st June 2018, by the 24th August 2018 we had sold our house and moved into another through them - 9 weeks and 1 day!
Platform Property are by far the most innovative and progressive Estate Agency in Oxted and the surrounding area.
Right from the "off" George was very proactive in getting things up and running, meeting with us on a Sunday at short notice to kick things off. A few days later I received a call just before 8pm from Tom (The Guvnor) - a courtesy call just to make sure things were progressing OK......how refreshing for customer service in this day and age!
All viewings were arranged and carried out by Platform Property, with a full debrief on how it went to follow. We did not have to chase them once throughout the whole process.
Stuart & Lily played their part in getting the deal done and then the best bit.......Toni - the fabulous sales progressor who did not stop until completion! Toni kept the whole thing motoring along, especially keeping the solicitors on their toes and all parties in the chain happy.....all this, with pretty much a daily update on where we were at........simply excellent service!
Unfortunately for Platform Property, we love our new house so much that we will not need to use them again anytime soon, but I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone wishing to buy or sell in this current tricky market......thank you for the cactus (named George) and keep up the good work!

One dark, chilly November evening after having had our house on the market for almost a year, there was a knock at the front door. Having opened the door after searching for the key and wiping off the cobwebs (we rarely used this entrance, except in high summer) a young man who introduced himself as George was found to be standing there. “I’m sorry to disturb you” he said “but I’ve been driving past your house for some time now and have noticed that you haven’t yet sold it. I work for Platform Property and we would very much like to be in a position to sell your house for you.”
We were so impressed by George and the rest of the team at Platform, we decided to entrust them to sell our beloved home. They sprang into action and we experienced more activity in the first few weeks than in the past year! The entire team at Platform were aware of what was happening, so it didn’t matter who we spoke to. 2017/2018 were difficult times to sell any property but Platform never ceased in their efforts to reach a successful conclusion.
After sales care was exemplary, thanks to the wonderful, bouncy Toni. She’s a one off.

What can I say about the team at Platform Property that hasn't already been said. They really are a team and not individuals working towards their own targets.
The photographer took amazing photos of our house and Platform Property were able to add them quickly not only to their own website but the major portals giving it maximum exposure. From the moment we put our house on the open market they had viewings lined up and people through the door. We were kept informed of any feedback from our viewings and anytime you rang the office they were polite, interested and willing to help.
Not only did they help sell our property but also helped find our new home. After viewing a couple of houses with them and missing out on one they found "our house" giving us a call before it came to market.
Once we had agreed with our buyer and seller, we were then in contact with their after sales team who then helped get us over the line in terms of dealing with solicitors and any queries that arose in the short time frame that we were given.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again it was an absolute pleasure. I feel like we are more friends than clients after this experience. So professional, friendly and passionate about their area and jobs it just flows from Tom and Dan through the whole company. Special mentions to Stuart who helped us on our sale and purchase but also Toni and Naomi in the after sales.

We used Platform Property to sell our house in Westerham. From start to finish the team were brilliant. A constant flow of viewings with feedback to each viewing almost immediately. Our house beautiful as it was sat directly on a very busy road which made the sales process slightly more challenging. The team, Tom, Dan, George and Toni managed the expectations of viewings ahead of their visits so people were happy to live at such close proximity to the road which made sure their were no surprises, nor time wasters. Platform Property were representing the house sellers of a house we purchased recently in what was a complicated, large chain of 6 houses. During the 6 months it took to get the purchase complete there were many complications and more than a few times when everything almost fell through. It was stressful, often confusing and information flow was not the best because of the large chain and number of agencies and solicitors involved.
However during the whole experience Platform Property where the guiding light, leading the way to get things moving and complete. This was over and above my own estate agent who for much of the process were nowhere to be found and only really ever seemed to get into action when Platform Property had got the information, sometimes information from our own buyer!
We dealt with Platform Property more than our own esate agent and they provided me most of the information and from what I can tell they did this for most of the people in our chain. At the centre of this was Toni Keath who literally was available 24/7 to get things complete. She was available on her days off and quite honestly needs to take a brek. Having someone that dedicated in a situation where it seemed lots of other people in the process didn't care was such a relief. I honestly believed that Toni wanted to get everything sorted for everyone and when a problem arose I could tell it affected Toni as much as it did us.
Toni had no responsability to provide the informaiton, help and assistance to us that she did but she was on hand for the whole process. I can only imagine that this was stressful for her as well with people being annoyed, upset and angry but she never seemed to let that waiver her determination to get things completed. Entirely professional throughout.
This is all to say that generally during the sale and purchase of a house there are seemingly a lot of people who ask for a lot of money. Most of the time I have no idea why I am paying so much money to these people as they, for the most part they don't seem to earn it. In the case of Platform Property I didn't pay them a penny and yet they offered me a service that completely justified the cost I would have incurred. So I have no issue in recommending them an will be using them in the future if I ever decide to sell.
As for feedback to Platform Property I would do everything you can to keep Toni around as I have genuinely not met many people that would pull out all the stops like she did for us. Very impressive.
