We have had a terrible experience with Payne & co for the following reasons : - Referencing new tenants they did not do due diligence which resulted in tenants being not suitable under payment threatened court action - not advising us when invoices council tax needed paying ending in court summons’s - not advising us when property became run down - poor communication regarding legal aspects they should know as Estate agents - very poor service which we paid for... Very prompt flexible service from Stuart when visiting the property, Stuart was also very understanding, respectful and empathetic towards us as it was our childhood family home we were placing on the market. They suggested and arranged a viewing day giving us some feedback from all who attended paying particular attention to being mindful of our feelings where feedback was maybe not so good! We have let our house and subsequently sold it through Payne and Co. Both experiences have been positive. Jason (lettings) was professional and addressed any issues with the property efficiently during the period that it was rented. Good communication both with us and with our tenants led to a positive experience all round. We felt as though our property was being very well looked after for the time that it was rented. Stuart and Sophie (sales) managed the sale of our property. Our property was slightly different and 'quirky' but from the time that it was put on the market, we appreciated Stuart's advice with regards to progressing the sale and Sophie responded to all of our queries appropriately and promptly to ensure that things ran as smoothly as possible.... I cannot recommend Payne &Co highly enough! I’d had my flat on the market with another local agent for 6 months with only a dribble of interest. Within days of transferring to Payne &Co there was a steady stream of viewings, with a good offer within a couple of weeks and a smooth completion today.
