10th Oct 2024 (14 weeks ago)Spoke to a lady today about renting a house. She basically told me that it's a 'professional property' and that you have to work 'atleast 30 hours a week' in order to rent the property. Very discriminative attitude against those that work less hours or are on benefits, even if they can afford the rent. I was very surprised by this attitude, especially as it was coming from a 'family run business' that is supposed to 'offer a simple, transparent and ethical service'. Discrimination doesn't sound very ethical to me.

24th Jun 2024 (6 mo. ago)Planned a viewing and drove the 1 hour journey to view. Filled out all the forms to do the viewing to then sit and wait for a response weather we had the house of not potentially missing opportunities on other houses. We only found out the house had gone to someone else due to searching online and seeing it was let agreed. Estate agents are good for noting and just want to collect there money every month. Not had a good one yet.

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. There's a lot of bad landlords out there but in my experience of renting a property from Smith & Co for many, many years now, I can truly say that you wouldn't go far wrong to rent from this caring, compassionate, understanding, professional and considerate company! I have had many wonderful, trouble free years' renting from Smith & Co. To be honest, I really wouldn't want to rent from anyone else now. Sara and her team are all so lovely! After many years I feel like I'm part of one big Smith & Co family! Top notch!

18th Jul 2024 (26 weeks ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.
