23rd Sep 2024 (19 days ago)Nick Smith provided our market appraisal and it was clear, concise and fair. He guided us to an asking price that he believed would attract viewings and that proved to be the case. The support team worked with us to produce photos and a property description that we were happy with and the photographer came back to take a second lot of exterior photos when the weather improved which really helped. Frances Elgar worked as our negotiator. We had an offer for the full asking price shortly after listing but our buyers lost their buyer after two months. Frances worked tirelessly to put the chain back together and engaged with solicitors and the agents in the chain to ensure we finally exchanged. She was always professional, objective and attentive and we were really impressed by how conscientious she was. She listened to our perspective but was not afraid to explain her position and provided extremely helpful advice throughout. We were really impressed by the whole process and highly recommend Nick, Frances and the team at Exeter Stags.

Isabel Clifton was our main point of contact and managed things with great professionalism from start to finish. She provided a realistic and accurate indication of valuation and, together with the team, dealt with initial marketing, viewings and negotiations extremely well.

Feedback after the 27 viewings was made quickly and allowed me to adapt the asking price and then achieve an acceptable offer. They turned a very complex sale into a smooth and straight forward process. They were on top of every detail from legal to admin... but must important, they supported me with confidence, assurance and certainty. I wouldn't doubt, for a minute, to go straight away with them, in my next buying/selling process. I am very glad and pleased to have worked with you!!!
29th May 2024 (19 weeks ago)The team were really helpful throughout the sale and a buyer was found very quickly. Our preferred method of communication was by email with occasional telephone call as we did not live in the area. The team kept us updated throughout, responded to our queries promptly and accompanied all viewings. We haven't mentioned a particular member of staff as the South Molton staff worked as a team, so we knew that whomever we called/messaged would be able to assist. The way that the team work together gave us confidence and was reassuring. They were professional and courteous throughout even when we may have been less so due to circumstances separate to the sale.
2nd Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)We used David Plaister to sell my late mother’s property at auction because it needed a bit of structural work and so was difficult to sell through the usual Estate Agent channels. From start to finish both David Plaister and Sophie Thorne; (who deals with the administration and sale) were professional, personable and highly efficient in ensuring everything was done to maximise the chance of selling the property. Their marketing is second to none, and this coupled with David’s knowledge of the local area and Sophie’s attention to detail ensured we were served very well indeed. The property sold at the first auction at a price that both parties ( buyer as well as vendor!) were pleased with. We could not have had better service- I would highly recommend David Plaister for anyone having to sell a property at auction. 26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. Turned up to house with keys after picking them up from their offices and tenants were still in the house with their possessions still in property. I rang the ewemove office and they didn't want to know. Seems to me they had their money and washed there hands on the whole matter, no after sales commitment at all.
