22nd Oct 2023 (2 years ago)A gem of a pub, tucked away in a pretty little village, best when the tide is in, the reflections on the water looking towards Plymouth are wonderful. Friendly staff, good ales and attractive interior with log burning stove. Lovely garden to enjoy the sun and views.

We asked a number of estate agents to value our house before putting it on the market and Carver Knowles were one of them. From the first time we contacted Carver Knowles they were helpful, took the time to listen to us and gave us their honest opinion. We chose to put our house on the market with Carver Knowles and they continued to impress us. They kept us informed with planned viewings and followed up with feedback from each viewing – never once did we have to chase them! Our house sale went through very smoothly and we believe this was due to Carver Knowles’ efficiency in communicating with all parties involved, ensuring nothing was neglected. My house went on the market just before the pandemic and so entered the market at a pretty difficult time. The photos taken for the details were absolutely excellent. I was kept well informed throughout the process and was pleased to be able to contact the agent at anytime. A brilliant service!

When we met Matthew, we instantly warmed to his professional and down-to-earth approach and the fact that he really appreciated the care and attention we had put into our home. This was reflected in the high quality brochure (brilliant photos and thoughtful description) that he produced and the way that the team conducted viewings. The result was a best and final offers process, achieving significantly over the asking price, from a buyer, in an excellent position. The team were absolutely fantastic in managing the process thereafter to exchange and completion. Every single member of the team was friendly and approachable and always fully briefed on the situation. They were also calm and reassuring when we hit a few bumps in the road. We honestly had such a positive experience from a company with a friendly, personalised service that offers something very different to other estate agents in the area. Thank you!!!! We can only hope for an experience half as good when it comes to purchasing our next home!
