30th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)I highly recommend Bridgfords, I needed a place to rent and they made super easy. They definitely work fast and efficient as I was able to move in in the space of a week. Furthermore, they have always cared and lent a helping hand when needed.
24th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)** Update after head office review, the branch have said that even though there is no record of any contact being made with any party for over 10 weeks, that's because they did it face to face, which is a lie and did not happen, we've not been to the branch. They also say they discussed matters over the phone which again didn't happen. So just bear in mind when things go wrong they will just make up lies when challenged and even though there's no notes (as per company policy) they will still stick to their lies. ** Please do not use this branch or company. They are simply the worst estate agent I have ever come across. In short, they lie, don't contact you or respond to your contact & try pressure/force you to use their recommended solicitor firm, who I'm sure they receive a payment from which they don't tell you, the buyer also experienced this pressure. if you don't use their solicitors they refuse to contact your solicitors or say they 'cannot contact them as you didn't use ours'. It has been 10 weeks since we or the buyer of the house had any contact from W H browns, they feel this is acceptable. If we hadn't have sorted things directly with the buyer ourselves the sale would have fallen through, 100%. They feel it is also ok to not respond to emails for over 10 weeks from the buyer who needed urgent help. They lie, they blame you for their mistakes and lack of service & also don't follow their own groups complaint procedure, ie don't advise you of your rights with the property ombudsman. Please do not use this company, use someone else who actually cares and doesn't just see it as there job to put your house on right move.

Nothing was a problem and they were always happy to answer questions and give advice about the process.

22nd Nov 2024 (19 days ago)Deciding who to put your house on the market with is a minefield. I chose Dawson Estate Agent and l don't regret it. Matt & his team have been brilliant. Swift to value the house, take the photos & putting the house on the market; both on their own website but on rightmove & on the market. Communication has been excellent and Matt & his colleagues have kept us informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Dawsons should you want to sell your home.

Sam was quick to answer any queries and promptly rectified any issues we had during our tenancy. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam as a lettings agent.

31st Jul 2024 (19 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
