17th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)a problematic agency... You pay the deposit and then they make you call somewhere else to unlock the deposit. You call there, 3-4 times and when you get close to the end of the call they pretend to lose contact. and so on. Finally, when you manage to finish the conversation, they tell you that they will send you an email for confirmation, an email that no longer comes. The email comes, but from the agency where you rented the house, telling you that you have to call to confirm your identity. And you call DPS again and so on. Shitty agency!

We got constant phone calls from "vouch" asking for us to set up bills for the property and asking for card debit card information. These calls kept happening even after we didn't get the property. We won't be using keates again.

Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part. Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

We have used several different estate agents over the years, Wheatcroft & Lloyd are by far the best. They are so friendly, helpful & will go above & beyond without you even asking. Superb customer service which is a rarity these days. Our purchasers, who came for a 2nd viewing, mentioned how impressed they were with Wheatcroft & Lloyd & how they are so much better than their own agents. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their home.
