I had my house up for sale through another local agent for 4 months and always felt that after a viewing (I had four) I was the one who chased the agent for feedback. I left them and went with Priory on the Monday, got a call on Tuesday, did a viewing on Wednesday and accepted an offer (after a little negotiation) on Thursday. Absolutely amazed and very impressed with the professionalism of the tema at Priory. Will definitely recommend these guys to anyone I know who is selling.
My wife and I endured a torrid time at the hands of the Stoke-on-Trent Tunstall Branch of 'Priory Property Services'. From the very beginning Matt Heathcote sent us persistant emails which were pressurising, unsettling, mischievous, threatening and accusatory, all defined and experienced as 'aggressive behaviour' in The Property Ombudsman's Code of Practice. He attempted to pressure us into using his associated services, and to speed up the deal quicker than acceptable, even blaming us for holding up the deal when it was the vendors who had not sent the contract.
Paula Heathcote, supposedly the one in charge, was useless. She did not provide us with a proper Complaints Procedure, threatened us before we put in the complaint, and then declared that she would not deal with the complaint. This was hardly surprising, seeing as they are the only agents in the area who do not invite feedback/complaints on their website. We have submitted the complaint directly to The Property Ombudsman.
One star is too kind for this bunch of cowboys.

Did what they said they would do and did it very well. Would recommend them even if a little more expensive than some on line services. Good value for money
Dont expect your deposit back they will do anything and say anything to keep it from you!!! Really poor service.. Not impressed with the attitude and how we have been treated after renting from them for nearly 4 years and kept the place in perfect condition..

I said I would increase my offer if the vendor agreed to a quick turn around, they called to say the vendor had agreed to this, but after over a month, no papers to my solicitor and by this point, I had vendors details so checked with them and they weren't even asked! Also, I waited on hold for hours when Samuel Makepeace had actually just closed the office for two weeks but they didn't bother to change their voicemail so you just waited on hold, having to call in person to the vendors house twice to sort out details for the surveyors, then having my complaint remediation ignored, and then rude down the phone and accusing me of blackmail because I said I was putting my experiences online and threatening to report me to the authorities! STEER WELL CLEAR! Especially if you are tying to sell your house they all but made me abort!
Then they deleted this review from their Facebook page! Utterly ridiculous!
