14th Oct 2024 (9 weeks ago)Avoid!!! Scam!!!! I’ve “won” this washing machine, basically I’ve won 2 washing machines in this lot… ohh wait: ive won the one it looks like it was in a car crash!!!! ???? I’ve complained of course… and they just void my invoice, and they refused to give me the machine in better conditions… by law they have to!!!!!!! So… I can conclude this is a scam, be careful, don’t spend your hardworking earned money with them!!! Some of this people don’t deserve to have a job.

The team at Bridgfords, especially Ross, kept us up to date throughout the purchase process and couldn’t help enough with any queries we had. Their communication was great and they always responded promptly the voicemails and emails. If I was ever listing a property for sale again, I would definitely choose this agent! Thanks Bridgfords!
7th Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)Went to see 2 houses and they where both of standard.The only issue I had was it wasn’t suited for my mum but will definitely sale.Was accompanied by Jake who showed us around and was helpful and professional.

3rd Sep 2024 (14 weeks ago)This estate agent want £60 to make an offer on a house. They say the need to check identity and use a third party web based company to do this. The won't accept brining my passport or driving licence in to the estate agents as they say they can't assess if it is genuine or not! apparently the website they refer can! I think staff need training to check peoples ID. I guess its another way for estate agents to make more money. Imagine the number of people who may like a house and want to make an offer- pay £60 to do so, for the offer to be rejected. Not all agents do this, if you comply to these bully tactics it will become industry normal. You will find that companies like these will want your ID to be checked before doing viewings. I will not sell any of my properties using this company, when they take a percentage of the sale and insist on £60 ID checks of any prospective purchaser.
22nd Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)I can not fault the team at reeds rains Hanley ,from day 1 of the viewing Tom was on time ,very professional and his selling strategy was spot on.My house had a offer within less than 2 weeks and the team got on with the sale as soon as the offer was accepted ,I would definitely 100%recommend the Hanley team to anyone ,thanks again to you all ,friendly professional and just delivered with nothing to much trouble .Thanks again to you all at Hanley branch ????

18th Mar 2024 (8 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

8th Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)There is a lot of emotion around the sale of deceased mum and dad's home and a dignified, empathetic, understanding with a dose of pragmatism is what is needed in bundles. That is what you get with Liz and her easy to chat to Dad in this family business of excellent and very professional Estate Agents. They really do say what it says on the tin. We had the smoothest of transitions to sale, exceeding all expectations; we were, as they promised, informed with clear and up to date information and they willingly shared their knowledge of the area. Think the thing that stood out was their promise to go the extra mile which I think is a real strong factor for them, something I would suggest is instinctive and so natural. They were a pleasure to work with and I would strongly recommend you consider their dignified and professional services. We could not have been better served.
5th Jul 2024 (23 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
