27th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Wish I could’ve bought through the local estate agent; Brunel Estate Agents. Ideal Homes epitomise a big company that know nothing about the property, the area or any legal requirements. They market properties with gardens that aren’t owned by the property, don’t bother advertising the parking at properties with parking in areas where parking is at a premium. When they accept your offer they wait weeks to actually send the memorandum of sale, then during the sale don’t bother to keep you up to date, chase the seller or update you on changes such as the seller pulling out! Total incompetence on every level. Wouldn’t buy or sell with them even if they paid me to.

Not to be trusted letting team are absolutely useless 4 years we lived with a leak!!! landlord Alec and his wife Nikki didn't care and we were told by the lettings Manager Neil we should be thankful we have a house. Even with council involved just didn't care .. Please use another letting agent AVOID at all costs you have been warned. Updated they even tried to take us for all our deposit even after 4 years of leaks mould and puddles. AVOID !!!! There should be no stars !!!!!! Luckily enough brains and dynamite ???? they accidentally put our deposit all the way through instant KARMA.. please do not trust them bunch of morons. Need to Close down let some professional rent properties to people. Avoid at all costs especially a property in Treningle View landlord Alec and Nikki you have been WARNED!!!!

I live abroad and thought that trying to sell a property back home in England was going to be so difficult, however Kivells made it so increadably easy, taking all the pressures and stress off my shoulders, such an amazing experience. I would recommend Kivells to anyone, in a heart beat!! Thank you Sam and your amazing team, for helping me through what could so easily have been a very stressful time!
18th Jan 2024 (7 mo. ago)Absolutely awful start to finish. Agent valued the property wrong, wouldn't answer emails, didn't pass on an offer, and messed up the paperwork almost costing the sale. Never experienced such a terrible agency in 30 years and having bought/sold dozens of properties

However, a genuine home buyer would NEVER try to renegotiate their formal offer based on cosmetic concerns. " This is exactly what they did so this is a red flag and would indicate you are NOT dealing with a reputable company!

17th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)Very happy seller in the way the staff at this firm handled the sale of our flat, as they did a great job on getting us to an early exchange of contract and completion. I could not ask more as they achieved everything we wanted. I would recommend them to any seller or buyer.

I had 2 buyers pull out and the team secured new buyers in an amazingly quick timeframe, absolutely fantastic. I feel sorry for the property owners who are selling through them. I will not be buying through them that's for sure. Stay away property sellers.

11th Jun 2024 (13 weeks ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.
