Still deducted their fees despite not collecting the last months rent! I have paid around £1700 in management fees over the years and have been disappointed with the service provided. Initially I took the tenant on in good faith as the office at Miller countrywide told me he was reliable and always paid his rent on time. Unfortunately he hasn’t and has left the flat in a poor condition with ruined carpets and wallpapers. He has also taken my boiler installation certificate. I will now have to pay an Indemnity policy for the sale. I find Miller Countrywide’s response to the situation so far as lacklustre and slow I once had a call from the Torpoint office asking me to arrange a repair for a leaking pipe as they had “too many other properties to deal with” they were still happy to take their fee. I have no idea what I have paid for over the past 3 years.... Read more

Poor experience of trying to purchase a house, dragged out for over 7 months and then fell through. Communication was awful from Miller Countrywide, specifically Jodey as Karl in contrast had given good service for the short time we endured with him. Be wary of the selling points if you have Jodey with you during a viewing, false information was told about title deeds already being completed, which had postponed the sale for another 8 weeks. The sale fell through and then Jodey had plucked up the courage to ask for more money than agreed before to give another offer to the seller. Miller countrywide, you have let us down, let this be a warning for anyone looking to purchase where the torpoint branch will cover. Very ashamed for a first house sale for myself, luckily our new property had professional agents and didn't misinform so badly.... Read more

The best experience I’ve had with an estate agent so far. Very helpful and made the process run smoothly. Emma and Vlad were happy to answer any queries I had, and Catherine also kept me up to date with processes. The zero deposit scheme is a fantastic way to help people like myself become more independent - it should definitely be encouraged more across all types of renting. I would encourage less pushing of the google review - it felt like it was a nag at times, not something I really want to add to the list of things to do whilst moving home. I’d advise head-office to look at other ways of reviewing staff performance that’s more rewarding. But all in all a great team, who are always willing to go out of their way to help.... Read more
