Emily and Ellie were especially a pleasure to work with: they both provided us with a really smooth and efficient service from passing on our initial offer, through property viewing, referencing to contract signing and handing us the keys to our lovely new home. They even surprised us with a personalised Home Move Box, which was such a nice touch and made us feel so welcome. I and my husband can only recommend Emily, Ellie and their Lettings Team to other prospective lettings customers looking for a great service. I would also like to give a big shout out for Gemma for her amazingly efficient and expert mortgage advice and matching us with the best mortgage lenders. I can’t thank everyone at Brown&Merry Tring enough for taking property matters to the next level.

12th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)It was an unfortunate start and things did go wrong but luckily we eventually sold the house for a reasonable price thanks to lots of help from Savills who stayed with us. It got very stressful at times because of delays etc. Would recommend this company of course.

She took the time to really understand my needs, especially considering our complex living situation, and was genuinely friendly and eager to help. We had a complicated chain but felt fully supported by Hunters especially Sarah and Caroline. 22nd Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We recently sold our property with Ashtons Harpenden, and they turned a very stressful process into a much easier one! From the initial valuation to the day we handed over the keys, the team were brilliant, particularly Greg, Jonny and Ryan. But that said, no matter which member of the team we were dealing with, the service was excellent. Viewing feedback and progress updates were given frequently, and it was always easy to get hold of someone if needed. Would highly recommend Ashtons for any future property services.

From the viewing to acceptance of offer and after care everything has been fantastic. Always very responsive and happy to help with any questions or queries. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
10th Apr 2025 (19 days ago)Potential buyer here. Enquired about viewing a property and they never got back to me as I couldn’t make the block of viewings they wanted me to tag on to. I chased them a week later and did manage to book. When it came to the viewing the agent turned up late, didn’t seem particularly bothered and rushed us through as the next party turned up to view. Asked for some follow up questions to be answered and again, never heard anything back. I got the impression they thought offers were going to be made elsewhere, but it’s still on the market!

24th May 2023 (1 year ago)Very poor level of service from day one until departure. Failed to look after our best interests as customers paying rent and basically had to deal with poor customer service throughout. Approach with extreme caution.

Ross (from the Wendover branch), from the first time I spoke to him, was a breath of fresh air. We’d been trying to sell our house with another local estate agent who did not do what they promised. In desperation I decided to see if changing to a different estate agent would be the answer. I was not disappointed. Ross’s down-to-earth yet incredibly positive, professional and competent attitude and abilities turned the whole process around immediately. He and his team re-marketed the house, showing its true potential and a buyer was found in no time! His support throughout the whole process was outstanding taking the worry and stress out of what could have been a very difficult time. Thank you so much Ross Final. Completely professional, calm and reassuring under pressure and, in our opinion, held the chain together, communicating with all parties involved to keep everyone fully informed. Duncan's guidance and approachability was second to none, he is a complete asset to the company and would recommend him completely if you are buying and/or selling a house in the area.

After initially securing a buyer who later withdrew, they wasted no time in finding a new buyer and successfully reselling the property within just three weeks—right in the middle of the quiet Christmas period. The post-sale support from Sarah and Caroline was outstanding. Their proactive approach, attention to detail, and exceptional risk management ensured we reached exchange and completion smoothly before the April stamp duty changes. A special thanks to: - Nick and Simone in Sales for their persistence and expertise. - Sarah in Progression for keeping everything on track. - Caroline and David for always being available to provide reassurance and guidance. As a first-time buyer, I was a bit anxious about entering what can be a stressful process. However, Robert's expertise and thorough knowledge in every aspect made all the difference.
