Having never sold a house before I was extremely dubious of the part estate agents played in the process and had only ever heard negatives. In House sold our house from start to finish in 2 months. Their service was of the highest standard and I found all the staff extremely helpful and professional. They had a good knowledge of the area and a fresh, realistic approach. Thus we followed their advice and were successful in selling at a time when many houses seem to be sitting around.
Traditionally we have used another agent, but on this occasion, after waiting a week for a response we contacted JP Knight.
We found John and his team friendly, professional and very very prompt in marketing the cottage and with all communications.
The result was a suitable tenant found that week.

We have had very bad experience with Lesters Estate Agents. We rented a house from them, and we have had many many problems with them: The house was extremely dirty when we wanted to move in there, and we could not enter it because Lesters did not have the key. They gave workmen the key to our house without our permission and workmen worked in our garden without our knowledge. Lesters did not do the repair and maintenance that they were supposed to do, and they ignored our problems even if they were responsible for solving them. Employees of Lesters were friendly in the start but they became careless and respectless after the contract was signed.
