She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . I do hope all your agents across the country are as wonderful as Katie. Thank you very much Katie you’re a star ??

Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.

On both occasions call-backs were promised but never happened. It seems they can afford to turn away potential clients and business. We will now use other agents.
24th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)The BEST of all the estate agents in Didcot. For buying, they really support buyers with viewings etc. and for sellers, they make the effort to attract buyers and match them to the most appropriate properties. All staff are extremely proactive and need recognition for their efforts. Calum stands out, he is kind, polite, professional and takes the time to get to know his clients/their requirements - he really does go above and beyond and the company are lucky to have him. Thank you for everything.
25th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)Hodsons found a buyer for my property with the help of Anita Smith at good price with excellent communication throughout the viewing and offer acceptance process. My buyer was a naive first time buyer who chose a terrible solicitor (Premier Property Lawyers) who presented multiple challenges throughout the convencying process such as absent communication, missed deadlines and bad paperwork. However, Hodsons with Lesley Fenwick and Kerry Nichols provided excellent support and communication to chase the buyer and their solicitor throughout the convencying process to push through the sale.
31st Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Inhouse operate as a team of friendly, experienced and knowledgeable agents. I think they overvalued the property to start with, but we got there in the end. The sale has not yet completed, so fingers crossed it goes through.

Joe, Luke and Tiffany have all proved to us that we made the very best choice in selecting them for the job. From the outset, they were professional, attentive and very responsive - replying to all calls, messages and emails on the same day. They matched us with the perfect buyers and the sale proceeded at speed. They answered our queries, managed all the viewings, and pointed us in the direction of all the relevant people to support our sale and removal. Nothing was too much trouble. The sale went through smoothly leaving both sellers and buyers extremely satisfied. I would definitely use their agency again and recommend them most highly to others. An enormous 'thank you' to the whole team.

4th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change.
