After a bumpy start the service we received whilst selling our house was great. Phillip answered all of our questions thoroughly and checked in with us regularly. We mostly corresponded with Gemma, who was brilliant. If we had an inquiry, she got on to it immediately. She kept us updated throughout and was really helpful. We were very anxious and impatient sellers and A&H dealt with this expertly. The sale is still going through but I know Gemma will do everything to ensure it progresses smoothly. Thank you.

Awful service. Very sexist in that they would never respond to my emails but responded to my male partner. Pushy and pressured us in to cutting corners to 'get the deal done quickly' resulting in empty promises and us being out of pocket. Refuse to accept any responsibility for their wrong doing. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Met with Allen and Harris about the sale of property in April 2019 and who promised to send documentation about the sale that day.They failed to do so.

A week later after reminding them they sent some of the promised paperwork but missed out essential documentation.

They did however inadvertently include paperwork about one of their other clients who was going through a divorce.
When I contacted them about the divorce papers they did not get back to me, ever!

Several emailed reminders were sent over the following weeks and ignored by Allen and Harris.

Very unprofessional and I would suggest avoiding this organisation.

Had the worst experience ever! The staff were discourteous and very unprofessional. The complaints procedure lacked integrity and have biased opinions on matter that require more than just reviewing paperwork as evidence. I am pretty certain most people who work in this branch are only there to earn a living and hardly care about the rest!

If you are buying or selling a house be aware that a female member of staff has ties to a property developer. That means that if you are selling you may get a quick offer below expected market value and if you are buying , as soon as the property is posted, it's gone.
Best bet is if you are selling or buying avoid Allen and Harris's Paisley branch
