Action oriented, they get on with the job and set realistic goals based on market insight. Sold our property in Dorchester on Thames successfully in a timely manner. They may not be the least expensive option in the area but you get what you pay for.

We just sold our house through Thomas Merrifield in Wallingford and we can't speak more highly of David, Craig, Tiffany and the team. It took a long time to find a buyer but that was clearly an issue with the housing market being so challenging. The team never faltered in their determination to find a buyer and we lost count of the number of viewings they managed to set up. Our eventual buyer saw our house back in June 2023 but they needed to sell their own property before they could make an offer and achieved this by switching their own sale to Thomas Merrifield. Once we had the chain established, the team was very proactive in moving the process along.

My husband and I couldn’t recommend David, Craig and the rest of the team at Thomas Merrifield anymore! We finally bought our first home in October 2023 after 7 months of ups and downs, and highs and lows. What ended up being a very drawn out process, with the chain breaking near completion and us nearing the end of our mortgage offer, was made as stressless as possible by the care and attention of both David and Craig in particular. Both were efficient, responsive, reassuring and kind at every step of the journey. If there were more than 5 stars David would have got them. From the start of the marketing through to the completion David was on top of it. He gave us regular updates, responded quickly to our queries, called and emailed when he said he would and provided support through what is, frankly, a stressful process. He was pro-active in finding out what was happening with the other sales in our chain, which was very reassuring. I purchased my first property through Thomas Merrifield. David was kind, professional and approachable from the off. I told him he was far too nice to be an estate agent! He worked for both buyer and seller and I felt my experience was important to him. I was kept updated regularly and he always called and emailed me when he said he would. No matter which member of staff I spoke to each were professional and delivered great customer service. My solicitor also said Thomas Merrifield were a pleasure to work with, which spoke volumes considering how many estate agents a conveyancing department work with. We had a really positive experience with Thomas Merrifield with our recent house purchase in Wallingford. We viewed our house on a Saturday and were able to speak directly with the Director to make an offer. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon, he was responsive and acted in the best interest of both the Seller and the Buyer and we quickly reached an agreement. I was in regular contact with the Director during the conveyancing process and he was always very helpful and replied to emails quickly and this allowed the process to progress smoothly and without delay (we exchanged contracts within 4 weeks!). We felt like we were in good hands with Thomas Merrifield - they know the industry and the market well.
