Horrible experience ! Booked in a viewing 4 days in advance and even called to confirm an hour and half prior to the viewing. One of the members of staff confirmed confidently that the viewing is still on. At the time of the viewing no one showed up, so we called again, this time the same agent could not find the booking as apparently it was not placed in the system, yet he had no problem confirming the same booking earlier. No apology, nor an effort to fix the problem as "everyone has left the office already". When I asked to speak to another member of staff that I could hear in the background, my request was ignored until it was too late as everyone had left. They charge high agent fees yet they can't even show up for a viewing. Firstly the agent tried to deny that he confirmed the booking but then he was reminded that the calls are recorded. Horrible customer service.
Very good and efficient service from the staff at Chancellors Abingdon branch. Alex the branch manager was almost always available and quick to answer my queries, and if he wasn't available then his members of staff were more than helpful. A very satisfied customer.
Worst company I have ever rented through, neglected to inform you of changes to your tenancy and then try to penalise you for it! Didn't even have keys to our property so everything had to be organised through me (even things that no one needed to be there for) which included taking time off work.....what does a landlord pay you for??
Tristan at the Didcot office helped us find somewhere to live the first day back at work in January. He called me on the off chance I could view a property that day, accommodated me and my daughter at a time I could make and made the whole viewing/offer process so simple. He took my details there and then, and we had everything signed and sorted within the week. There were no hidden charges or issues, no unexpected questions or challenges and just a super smooth experience. Just need to pick up the keys now!
Painful experience renting a house using Allen and Harris. Fees were well overpriced for the service we received (>£200 per person for a 2 bed place). When being shown around we were told we could remove unwanted furniture only to be told something different by the landlord. On moving out of the property the estate agent took 8 weeks to return our deposit and didn't communicate at all well with us throughout this period, leaving long gaps of weeks without responding to emails. Eventually received full deposit back after far too long.
The estate agents were friendly and helpful when attempting to get us into the flat, but this level of service was not reciprocated at the end of the tenancy when we felt we were treated very poorly. If you are renting a property through Allen and Harris ensure you have the process to receive your deposit back in writing and haggle down their extortionate and unjustified tenancy fees.
absolutely brilliant team! Paul Pieri and co worked tirelessly to get our house on the market in such a short space of time. the photos were wonderful and they managed to market it whilst we were on holiday which made the whole process very relaxing. Lynette is incredible and has been on hand throughout to guide us through the process. they may be smaller than some of the other high street estate agents in wantage however
do not worry about that... it simply means that they care that much more about each client and really do put all of their expertise into your sale. in fact they achieved a much higher sale price on our house than a competitor was quoting! furthermore their rates are very competitive. i could not recommend them highly enough!!

Excellent communication regarding viewings and feedback from members of the team. Highly efficient and friendly service from Lynette through to completion. I would highly recommend Paul Pieri. They are also very good value for money.

The team fully managed our house whilst we rented it and nothing was ever too much trouble for Jack who was really professional and calm in storm when we faced challenges. When we came to sell Jack found us a short term let and the sales team were genuinely enthusiastic about our home and got us under offer very quickly. Kate and Deborah (in sales) are very responsive and gave us regular feedback. It all tied together seamlessly. We are very grateful to everyone at Hamptons.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I have recently had a terrible experience with Green and Co. Wantage and would seriously never wish to have anything to do with them again! As a buyer spending a significant amount of money on a property, I was treated appallingly! If it had not been for the fact that I absolutely love the property I have purchased through them, both Gemma and James would have put me off the sale along time ago. On several occasions I was on the receiving end of what I can only describe as bullying! Never before have I had to ask someone to stop being so rude to me over the phone (as I did with Gemma when she hung up on me!) Due to having to sell my property in order to purchase my next (standard chain scenario) I was telephoned for updates by these guys almost constantly who became really quite angry with me! The whole experience was dreadful. There is a lot more I could say about their unprofessionalism but the main point here is avoid dealing with these people if you don't want to be treated like dirt!
