15th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Avoid at all costs, even if they're selling your dream home. It is not worth it and you stand to lose a lot! Absolutely terrible customer service and organisation. They are single handedly holding up a chain of 2 houses and have ignored almost all emails from the start of this process. They have also lied throughout, right from the first viewing, with claims that turned out to he completely untrue up to us trying to complete the exchange. Currently have got both buyers in the chain, plus the other estate agent chasing them, to still not even have the courtesy to reply to any one of us. The person buying our house is going to end up homeless if Davis Tate don't start to action everything that they should have, and they do not appear to care in the slightest. They are rude and unacceptably bad at their jobs, putting peoples lives in the balance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

26th Jun 2023 (9 mo. ago)Rang in the morning to book a viewing as was keen to see a property, was told someone would call back shortly, I also asked if the property was still available and it was. Just over an hour and a half and no call back, rang again but I wouldn’t get put through to sales. Eventually got a call back and a very blunt women said sorry is sold subject to contract so can’t get a viewing. Which is fair enough but the tone it came across was not the best. Didn’t even get offered any other properties, or get asked what my budget or type of property I was looking for. Clearly not wanting to sell properties to anyone.
6th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)We received outstanding service from all the team at Thomas Merrifield, from placing the house on the market to completion. Marketing was excellent and the house sold very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Charlie who regularly kept in touch with updates as the sale proceeded. Charlie was 'our rock' throughout; nothing was too much trouble for him, reassuring and supporting us at every stage. We would highly recommend the team and give 10 stars (if it were possible!)

They set a fair price which was rightly priced for the market and then provided good marketing, online and in the window. They communicated often and gave feedback on each viewing. I transacted after 2 months and was very happy. Great team and best in Summertown.

The biggest positive was the friendliness and the personal service and the willingness to go the extra mile . I would recommend them to anyone (and have indeed already done so) and hope that they continue to thrive .

15th Apr 2024 (3 days ago)AVOID. Would give them a 0 if I could. Horrendous estate agents that will hook you in with paying a no deposit option, being told I’d not even be considered to rent the property unless I paid this way even though I offered them 7 weeks of rent upfront as a deposit. They attempted to sting me with a hefty bill for cleaning (which was eventually deemed too high) / unreturned items which were returned. I managed to win the majority of my money back by paying for an adjudicator to look at the case. They then tried to lie their way out of refunding the fee which I paid for this adjudication to go ahead by stating it was non refundable which was not what my tenancy stated. They got a debt collection company to try and collect the incorrect amount owed off me which I spent months fighting to finally win my share back. Also tried to contact them several times for certain issues during my contract and heard nothing back. Called one evening to let them know I had a ceiling leak coming through the electrics in the roof and never heard back nor sent anyone to fix it before closing for the day and never getting back to me. No care for your safety. If you’re a tenant, from my own experience, I’d heavily avoid this agency. I’ve read many reviews from other tenants stating similar experiences. A totally stressful experience which I’ve never experienced with any other letting agency. Avoid at all costs.

We were told that a decision on our offer would be made by the end of the week, and indeed it was accepted by then. Jeremy was really very good: helpful, honest, reassuring, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to be of assistance.

For the past 5 years we had been using a well-known, international branded estate agents to rent our property however their service levels increasingly became very poor. Moving to Belvoir has been the best decision; we are experiencing really quick and clear communication, proactive and helpful advice and great support. We would strongly recommend Belvoir Estate agents for all your property needs.
