Green & Co were absolutely amazing getting us into our new apartment. After months of staying in Air BnB we got in touch with them regarding an apartment and within 1 and a half weeks we were moved in! Malcolm was genuinely willing to help us as best he could and kept up the communications every step of the way and following things up for us to meet our desired move in date. We just moved to Wantage. We registered with all the big estate agents in Wantage and Didcot with the aim of renting a house. Houses for rent at this time are in short supply. Harriet continually went above and beyond to help me with any queries, and she was particularly amazing with my daughter who has special needs - Harriet helped to make sure my daughter was comfortable and happy at viewings and when we visited the Wantage branch. Chris has also been very helpful, I had a couple of queries once I moved into the property and Chris immediately responded and resolved my queries.

I would like to say a particular thank you to the Manager (Chris) who was sensitive and showed a lot of kindness relating to the reasons why I am moving into rented accommodation. During an anxious time, he was very reassuring, personable, warming and understanding. All of this made such a difference, and I am now much happier in the property. Thank you.

As a cash buyer, an offer was submitted verbally and in writing to Green & Co. of the guide price for a property they were marketing.
I never hear back from them, not even to say that another offer had been selected over mine. Not even a courtesy email, the service is very poor.
Even if they had the perfect property for me, I would walk away if it was being sold via Green & Co.
Sellers, there are more professional organisations out there, I cannot recommend this organisation (I have no affiliation to any other agents, that is just my opinion as a purchaser).

We were tenants with Green and Co acting as the agents for 2 years. We ended the tenancy and were treated disrespectfully, as if we were children. We felt the agent was trying to pressure us into agreeing an unfair proportion of the deposit to be given to the landlord and she was not professional and made consistent mistakes. Would not recommend this estate agents for rental in the future.

Consistently realistic appraisals of property across my 20 year association with this fabulous, independent company. If I could rate zero stars I would. I have recently had a terrible experience with Green and Co. Wantage and would seriously never wish to have anything to do with them again! As a buyer spending a significant amount of money on a property, I was treated appallingly! If it had not been for the fact that I absolutely love the property I have purchased through them, both Gemma and James would have put me off the sale along time ago. On several occasions I was on the receiving end of what I can only describe as bullying! Never before have I had to ask someone to stop being so rude to me over the phone (as I did with Gemma when she hung up on me!) Due to having to sell my property in order to purchase my next (standard chain scenario) I was telephoned for updates by these guys almost constantly who became really quite angry with me! The whole experience was dreadful. There is a lot more I could say about their unprofessionalism but the main point here is avoid dealing with these people if you don't want to be treated like dirt!

Having not moved for more than 30 years, the prospect of doing so was rather daunting. Getting older, we wanted to move within the local area to a new, more manageable house / garden on a small select village development which we had identified from the planning application. We believed Green & Co would become the selling agents for the developer (having marketed their previous site) and having met with James Goodman we were impressed with his manner and professionalism and that of his team. We therefore put our house on the market with Green & Co..James and Lucy kept us fully advised after each viewing and of the subsequent various offers made by prospective buyers.
When Green & Co received details of the new site from the developer, James advised us immediately. We were able to view the site details with him and instructed him to put in an 'off plan' offer for one of the properties. James negotiated a very good deal with the developer and we committed to go ahead, albeit the property would not be built / ready for occupation for at least 6 months. As a result, we agreed to accept the most proceedable offer for our property, since we would need to exchange contracts for the sale and purchase in a matter of weeks. To facilitate the move we decided to go into rented accommodation for 6 months. Lorraine at Green & Co Lettings was able to find us a brand new house for this interim period which suited us perfectly.
We cannot speak highly enough about our overall dealings with Green & Co. in not only selling our house, but in buying a new property and securing us interim accommodation. James, Lucy and Gemma in Residential Sales were all terrific as was Lorraine in Lettings. Thank you very much Green & Co - we have achieved exactly what we set out to do with your friendly and professional help.
