Taylors at Wellingborough have been so helpful from the start. We had a lot of viewing and they always kept me informed. It’s been a very long process since the actual sale however I knew I could always count on them to help chase if needed. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you.
Put an offer in on a property and drove 60+ miles to get all relevant documents to Taylors so we could take it off the market and we NEVER had a phone call back to say if the offer had been accepted or not. The agents were very patronising and as investors we have dealt with several estate agencies in the past...Taylors are the worst. 4 days later I've just checked online to see if the offer had been accepted or if the property was still on the market and the vendor has withdrawn the property from the market. We were never alerted to this. Disgusting practise. We will never be using them again.
Adding to this nearly two weeks later we were contacted by Taylors to say how things were going and confused we stated that our offer hadn't been confirmed so withdrew our offer so we could buy another property and save ourselves the hassle of Taylors, and out of the blue they've now decided to instruct our solicitors to progress with contracts despite the fact that the property has now been re-listed for sale!
Not to mention the clear spelling mistake in the first sentence of the listing, and the fact that the property is listed as a studio flat when it was in fact, a 1 bedroom.
Oh and to the branch manager, perhaps instead of focusing this Google review you should improve your service.
I have done business with Chris Perrin of Hawksby's on a number of occasions over the last 15 years. I have never been disappointed. I would not choose anyone else to help me carry out a sale or a let in the Wellingborough area. Trust in Chris to help you out.
We've been looking to move back to the Wellingborough area where we both grew up for over a year now. August 2015 we were looking at properties on the net and came across one on the Martin Hawksby website. It was just what we wanted but it was under offer so we didn't enquire further as we didn't want to get excited and waste time for nothing. A month or so back when we were really in a position to make the move I looked again at the website and the same property was still there, still under offer, so I phoned up to enquire. I was told it was sold months ago and shouldn't be on the website and would be removed forthwith. It's still there, still under offer, and I phoned up yesterday and was told again it was sold months ago and it was a mistake and it would be removed. Why keep it on for this long if it's not for sale? When I asked if it was a marketing ploy the fellow I was speaking to hung up on me. Has anyone sold a property through these people and had it showing as under offer after it's been sold. I'd be interested to hear. Needless to say we'll be looking at other agents for our new home.
First class service from Matthew and team from start to finish.
Invited Magenta to come to value our house, Nigel was very unenthusiastic, spent all of 10 minutes in our property and came up with a ridiculously low price (probably so he could sell without much effort!). Needless to say we went with another agent who was far more enthusiastic and realistic than Magenta. Our property sold at full asking price (10% more than magenta had said put in on for) and within 24 hours! Just shows that they don't know what they're on about!
