Have used YM for over 20 years, the current staff in the Brighton office are very good. Luke, who is the head property manager based at a central localtion, deals with everyday management of the properties and is great. He replies immediatly to emails and is always very helpful and deals with things in a very frienly, personal manner, with both landlords and tenants.

I have been working with Your Move Brighton, specifically Dominique Lennon and have found as a Conveyancer that the assistance provided is amazing, always happy to assist to ensure the transaction runs as smooth as possible and makes the process a lot easier. have few properties back home but first time landlord in UK.
'yourmove' estate agents did everything for me.
arranged a meeting, I advice what my expectations are and within few days they had viewings booked, tenant moved in, all paperwork done and they email me just when I needed to sign. they did all the legwork for me.
so smooth process.
totally recommend Dominique and Grace.

Things have changed a lot in the rental market since we first rented a property in Worthing around 7 years ago. Finding a property is harder, checks and online paperwork is extensive so it was a relief to deal with a professional and helpful team at your-move in Brighton. I felt at some points I was pestering them with phone calls and emails as it was an anxious time trying to get my family moved in before Christmas. All I received was help and reassurance throughout the process. Grace especially was always there and responded usually within the hour to my multiple questions, plus Dominique and the rest of the team I spoke with always dealt with me with kindness and professionalism.

Poor communication, cancelled several viewings, one of which we were uninformed about until we arrived at the property having travelled to Brighton from Reading. After these cancellations I have had to chase them for any further details, half the time they don't even respond and they didn't even have the decency to inform us that they'd let the property out to another group. All around messed our group around and often times just rude.

We went for a viewing with Tracy for a lovely property and were told we were the first to view it and one of firsts to apply. When we got sent the application form, it just asks to follow a template of questions/information the landlord needs to know about us, therefore, we give all information asked for and sent it immediately.
After chasing the agency via emails for an update as for if we had been approved for the property, we were told it had been let to someone else which is absolutely fine, what isn’t okay is the reasoning they gave us and admitted to.
We were curious as to why we didn’t get the property as we were first in, had offered to pay more than what was asked every month, had a higher combined salary than what was needed and met all the requirements, therefore, we called the agency. (I’m aware agencies and landlords decide on their tenants in different ways but this one was very unjust)
Tracy answered the phone and explained the reason it was given to the other people was because, in their application, they had stated why they wanted to property. This is unfair and it doesn’t give all applicants the same opportunity as that was never asked in the application form. If it had been asked, I would have written an essay as to why I wanted the property but we weren’t given that opportunity. We then asked Tracy if the people who had got the flat had offered put in a higher offer and we were told that they hadn’t. So all in all, the agency/landlord have based their decision off of someone stating why they like the flat. If that’s what they base they’re choices off of, they should give every applicant the same opportunity.
As we were expressing our disappointment with the whole situation, Tracy keeps speaking over me and then proceeds to put the phone down on me because I asked her to let me finish speaking.
Do not rent from this agency! Unprofessional, discriminatory, unorganised and just pure awful.

I have just let my property through Your move Brighton. The service was exceptional and I was kept very well guided throughout the process. The team was fantastic and Evan was always available to answer any questions I had and provide reassurance. I would recommend Your move to any Landlords looking to let and have their property managed.
