Just completed this sale of my father-in-law's house. We were keen to use an agent with local knowledge and I'm very pleased we chose Alan Cooke Sales and Lettings. We received excellent advice on how to aproach the sale and the marketing was exceptional. As a result, we received a large number of offers very quickly. We then received detailed advice on the benefits and risks of each offer and the associated chain. We chose an offer that was most likely to complete and the whole process of marketing and conveyancing was wrapped up in just over three months. Very happy with the sale price and the agents fees. From the start I have found Alan Cooke to be highly professional, keeping me in touch at all stages regarding viewings. The tenancy is fully managed by Alan Cooke, so they have seen to initial meter readings, gas and other safety checks, minor problems reported by the tenants and the various legal requirements. I am grateful for every day since I was introduced to Cooke's. They pride themselves on giving phenomenal service. I feel like they look after my properties as if they were their own homes or better. They provide through and regular inspections. They are always there to answer and assist with any question I may have. They are on the ball with prompt and reliable team of service supplies if the need arises. They are happy to help with any matter regarding the maintenance and upkeep of my properties. I've been renting property out around Leeds for over ten years, and all of them are now let through Alan Cooke. They're the best I've found - especially around finding new tenants. In the past some of the staff haven't been 100% about getting information from tenants regarding faults but that has improved a lot over the last year or so.... Read more
