I first started the process of buying a Victorian house in Bath back in January, and over the course of a nine-month journey leading up to completion in October, Jake was consistently great and kept the sale in motion where others might not.<br><br>This purchase brought its share of complex negotiations and unpredictable hurdles due to chain issues and debates with the sellers. Jake handled every step of the process with exceptional professionalism and great humour. We spent countless hours discussing options. Jake managed to represent his clients well whilst still being fair to me as the buyer, which I appreciated. I had the impression he was encouraging the sellers to keep the sale moving. I originally purchased my property through Andrews in Bath. So I didn't hesitate to use them again. We gave had a steady stream of viewings and about 5 offers. The current economic climate and the issues with Landlord investors made it difficult to value the house to gain the maximum value. However we seem to have reached a position where interested buyers are bidding similar offers and we have currently accepted an offer subject to contract. Andrews have been very good with communication where you get notification by email and text with follow up calls. Overall I am pleased with Andrews to date

We have just sold our property that we bought almost 5 years ago through Andrews at Bath Bear Flat, and once again the service was excellent.<br>The team led by Emily, kicked off the process with a measured valuation with recent proof points and professional guidance.<br>I believe they did a really good job of trying to match our property to prospective buyers to ensure we had a good fit and high levels of follow on interest from the viewings and an acceptable offer.<br>From thereon, the day to day team of Sophia and Connor kept the buyer and ourselves fully briefed on all aspects of the sale and helped resolve any questions raised in a friendly and professional manner.<br>We felt very confident that the team were doing their best at all times to ensure that the buyer and ourselves were being listened to and tried to make sure that everyone was comfortable.<br>The advert went live on the 15th October 2025 and completed on the 15th January 2026, which was excellent, especially when you consider we lost three weeks of legal time over the Xmas and New Year holidays.<br>Very pleased with the service from the team members mentioned and the ad hoc help from the rest of the branch as and when needed. As a landlord, the customer service is terrible. Ongoing issues with invoices for over half a year which Andrews do not care to amend. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time going back and forth to understand issues with invoices.

I can't praise this estate agents highly enough! Sophie and Emma have just helped me through a buying process. It was a bit complicated as I am relocating from abroad but this didn't faze them at all! Sophie was great at arranging and letting in surveyors etc to carry out inspections on the property and both she and Emma gave me excellent advice. I made the mistake of using a "cheap" online firm of solicitors for the conveyancing process after terms were agreed. Despite great difficulty in contacting them or getting them to process the sale, Emma at the Bear Flat office persevered and finally managed to establish that the solicitor was off sick (probably stress related) and her boss had left! Sale now completed using a different firm but without Emma's significant contribution we would still be stuck.

Andrews were fine but the online solicitor they recommended to our buyer was a nightmare and we took 16 weeks to exchange contracts. I would advise people never to accept an offer from someone using an online solicitor. They are cheap for a reason!
