Having used Anthony Jones in the past, I had no hesitation in doing so again. I had a property to rent and needed a tenant. After contacting Tony, the property was advertised and Tenant was signed up in under 48 hours. Having rented many properties in the past, Anthony Jones is by far the most efficient and professional service you could ask for. Anna Kept me up-to-date at every stage Of the process. Absolutely all aspects from tenancy agreement to credit check safety certificates and inventory everything was dealt with by them. They are the only estate agent for sales and lettings would ever recommend to friends and family.

The Anthony Jones team have done a fantastic job and I recommend them unreservedly for giving great service – communicative, responsive, and professional.
When my aunt died, I needed an agent to sell her house that I could trust to perform, as I live 300 miles away. At the outset Tony gave great advice on marketing and pricing and throughout the sale process he, Anna, Karen and the rest of the team gave regular updates, notifying me of each viewing, interest and offers received.
However, they really proved their mettle when our buyer demanded we bring completion forward by two weeks, or they would withdraw. I was unable to travel up to the North-East in that timeframe, and the house clearance firm I had booked had no earlier appointments. But the Anthony Jones team found me another firm that could clear the house in two days’ time. Next, before the house clearance took place, they collected and packed the items I wanted to keep (including a complete china tea service) and stored them on their premises until I was able to collect them two weeks later. Top marks for problem solving and going the extra mile!

You never really know how good a business or service is until you’ve used them despite any reviews.
Very early on Tony contacted us to reassure us they would take care of selling our property despite set backs with another estate agent.
The sale team visited the property introducing themselves in a professional manner giving us an idea of the selling process but also familiarising themselves with the property.
We can’t fault the team effort and diligent work that went into making our property sale successful.
We need to make a special mention about Abi who put her heart and soul in making things happen. She went above and beyond to make sure that the sale was kept on track. We were always kept well informed by Abi whether it was good news or bad but she made every effort to negotiate any obstacle and always has a positive approach.
I would have no doubt in using Anthony Jones again and would certainly highly recommend them as an estate agent.

We were on the same page with the presentation of the property in order to attract a buyer, but I was educated on all the technical side in an easy to grasp fashion regarding the best strategy's moving forward.
Tony makes it clear that his team are not here to just get a property up for sale, but to sell it. So remember who to go to if your seriously wanting a sale. Make sure your ready to let go, because it will be gone.
Again the whole team gets involved in different aspects of the advertising, from viewings, statistics or an ear to listen to your feelings.
Nothing seems to much to ask, which is a reassuring comfortable feeling when dealing with such an important aspect in life.
Things did get worrying due to the pandemic, it threw everything up in air some what, but the reassurance was there, and against all odds I was paired with a buyer during these difficult times.

I would like to thank Tony, Charlotte and Grace for their total professionalism throughout the whole process in selling my late mother`s property.
From the first to last day I was kept fully up to date at what stage the sales process was up to.
They put the house on the market last December and by the 2nd of January this year they had 15 people showing an interest in the property.
Before anyone went to see the property they contacted me to see if I was ok with that. By the 15th of January we had an offer above the asking price, on the 18th of March the sale of the property completed.
Whilst the property was up for sale, Tony arranged for it to be totally cleared out and cleaned.
I can`t thank Tony and his team enough for all hard work they did, not only was I dealing with the loss of my mother, I also had the bad news of my wife being diagnosed with breast cancer.
All the stress of selling the property was dealt with by Tony and his team.

I received an email from my solicitor at lunchtime to say that completion of my late Grandad's house had taken place. As you can imagine it was a bittersweet email as it was yet another part of my Grandad gone.

So, finally some good news - we exchanged contracts yesterday, and complete next Tuesday.
I know we were selling through someone else but your support, knowledge and innate enthusiasm simply guided us through our fabulously inept estate agents and very flaky buyers.
With your wonderful reply in regard to the survey we thought carefully about our response, walked ourselves through every detail of the report and then invited the buyers over to also walk them through every detail of the report.
They relaxed a lot, but felt to protect themselves against future issues they got a structural engineer in. The SE gave the building a resounding clear bill of health.

From the very start of the process to the completion of sale Tony and Grace demonstrated a degree of professionalism, honesty and commitment that puts all other estate agents to shame. They do so much more than I have ever come to expect from the traditional high street estate agents. It began with the initial consultation. Armed with a well researched history of sales on the area together with a market analysis we had a frank discussion on how to pitch the sale and what minor improvements we could make to increase footfall. We then agreed a marketing plan and how best to stage the photographs - this included a consultation with an interior designer and a professional photographer. The results were extraordinary and all included in the fee. Don’t just take my word for it - compare and contrast with other estate agents on Rightmove and Zoopla. Also included was the accompanied viewings - which worked extremely well and ensured there was real time feedback from a more objective perspective. Once a buyer was found Tony kept in regular touch with the buyer, ourselves, solicitors and estate agents to iron out several unexpected issues that could have seriously jeopardised the sale. Perhaps most importantly the really big difference (if all of the aforementioned wasn’t enough) was that Tony and Grace made us feel they really cared and understood how difficult and stressful house selling is and shouldered a lot of that for us. I really cannot recommend them more highly.

Our home had been up for sale with a few agents over the previous year until I was recommended Anthony Jones. Tony, Grace and the team at Anthony Jones were a breath of fresh air. They spent a great deal of time with me finding out about our home and our wishes for moving. There was absolutely no "hard sell" and then to top it off they spent a whole morning staging my house and ensuring it was perfect for brochure and web launch. A plan was made to sell with communication strategy and we agreed launch date. This all happened and Tony kept me updated pre and post every viewing, no matter what time of day - definitely a 24 x 7 x 365 operation. Important to note that Tony was the first agent I used who insisted that Anthony Jones carry out all viewings and then stick to it. Other agents had offered this service but it never materialised as they were always too busy. I can't stress enough how important this is as you need a middle man doing the viewings, collecting feedback and "doing the deal" - it's too emotional a time to be personally involved. Anthony Jones offer a friendly, reliable and one of the most professional services I have ever come across. Absolute 5* and when I move again in 10 years time I will go straight back to them. I am in the final stages of selling a cottage I own. Long story, but a crisis arose last week as a result of which we needed a last minute emergency valuation. Without this the sale was likely to fall through. I phoned round numerous valuers in the area. Half of these never called back. Those which did were inflexible and advised September was the earliest they would deliver any valuation. I finally came across Anthony Jones on Google and decided to give them a try. Tony's approach was completely different. As soon as he understood the position I faced he rescheduled his diary so to visit the property the next day. (And this is cottage in the middle of nowhere. It is not somewhere you can just drop in on en-route to another appointment!). Tony then sent my solicitor his valuation that very evening. What can I say Tony and the team are amazing, the best estate agent I’ve ever used, and I highly recommend them everyone. Our experience was so good through the buying process we had no hesitation in appointing Tony to sell our property.
Tony completely understands his customer and the housing market. The team go out of their way to accommodate their customer’s needs, even doing viewings on New Year’s Day, if that’s what the customer wants. The team are always extremely professional and on hand to provide their expert advice.
In our experience the buying process was completely seamless from start to finish and on the morning, we got our keys to our lovely new home, Tony was there to greet us at the property to hand over the keys personally, again another aspect of service which goes over and above most estate agents.
When we put our house up for sale, Tony’s knowledge of the market in terms of pricing and timing was second to none. Most agents just come around and take a few pictures and then market it. Tony on the other hand comes around and talks through how best to market the property and when to put it on the market and at what price. It was such a pleasant experience purchasing my home through Anthony Jones Properties. The level of professionalism from the whole team was exceptional. The telephone manner of the office personnel was highly commendable and thankfully they were able to arrange a viewing of the property at such short notice.
The initial viewing was well structured and Tony's knowledge of the finer details of the property was impressive. I can imagine from a sellers perspective he would be the ideal individual to be negotiating a sale. His professional and personal qualities made the the ordinarily stressful process of moving home a breeze. Unlike some agents he was not bound by office hours and made himself contactable at any point to ensure the transaction ran as smoothly as possible. When faced with the inevitable delays due to solicitors dragging their heels, Grace was on hand to encourage them to prioritise and delivered prompt responses via email when required.
I met Tony again at the property to collect my keys on completion day and he was genuinely delighted to welcome me to my new home.

Having recently completed the sale of a property in Darlington, in a quick and pain free manner, I would like to thank Tony and AJ properties.
The property was not an easy one to sell, due to several key factors, i.e. it was a listed building, it was on main road and it needed a lot of care to make it presentable/marketable. As I live in London, there was a distance issue too, which made it hard for me to arrange essential things like clearance and access. Tony took complete control of this, the whole approach was very professional and they made the experience a stress free one. The care and attention they put in to the marketing, presentation, dealing with unforeseen issues, were beyond compare and the online viewing figure quantified this.
