Been with Arlanda over the last 6 months, unsure why they get bad reviews because I have had such a good experience with them! Chris was professional when we first signed the lease for the apartment, which the turnaround was about a week from signing to moving in. Any issues we have had with the apartment Chris replies pretty immediately and he has sent over someone to fix them. The apartment itself is great and I'm happy with the price. We were able to sign a 6 month tenancy, with a rolling contract afterwards (!!), and we are now about to re-new another 6 months. Not a bad word to say and I would highly recommend them against other agencies I've been with!... Read more

I viewed a flat in Manchester advertised by Arlanda. The man who showed me around was polite and helpful, and I liked the flat so later that day I called them to make an offer. I was advised that they had just received an offer for the asking price. I slept on it and decided to make a higher offer the next morning. In the afternoon, Arlanda contacted me to say the vendor had asked for best and final offers from me and the other person by the next morning. I replied that evening saying I wanted to stick with what I had offered in the morning. Sadly I never heard from Arlanda again. I don't mind that I didn't get the property but would at least like to have been told. I understand that estate agents have a lot on their plates, but a call/email would have been nice, especially being such a big life event from my perspective had I got the property. EDIT - Arlanda have replied to my review 3 years after I wrote it, falsely stating that they left a voicemail and I never called back. This is completely untrue and how would they remember that 3 years on anyway? Their reply is clearly damage control for the benefit of those who read these reviews but because of their dishonesty I'm changing the rating from 2 to 1. That's what you get for lying.... Read more

This has to be the worst agency I've ever dealt honestly. The manager Chris has no clue whatsoever and didn't pass the right information to me throughout the process. I paid an agency fee of 150 to them but yet I was the one chasing up all the time , they never got back to you to Keep you in the know or what other options you could get. I don't mind not getting the property but better communication would have been appreciated!! or for that chris to admit his wrongdoing rather than dilly dally about. They even asked for cash which was dodge to pay for the rent and deposit but they weren't that smart enough. Save yourself the hassle and unprofessional attitude because they don't put in effort or try at the least for their clients. Service = 0... Read more

Dealt with Arlanda for over a year living in a property in Manchester. Didn't deal them much but they seemed nice in our contact over the time I lived at the property. Deposit return comes around and they added a bunch of charges, some of which were a bit questionable and when I disputed them, one of their agents (Chris- yes I'm naming and shaming) got snappy with me, referred to our conversation as getting silly and despite offering a reduced deduction wouldn't accept responsibility for his wrongdoing in the situation. Insufferably stubborn for the sake of a £25 charge, I would have used them again but not anymore.... Read more
