AVOID!!!!! If I could give a score into the negative I would!! They managed my property for approximately 7 years. In the last year they failed to inform me that the tenants had put an EXTENSION (lean to) to the back of my property with ELECTRICITY - all of which rendered my insurance null and void. The agent knew about it for 6 months and didn't inform me. I only found out about this from the neighbour. I later found that he also did not get references for the tenant, only credit checks were completed. The tenant broke many of the clauses in the tenancy agreement including damaging my property inside and out (broken floor tiles, holes and fixtures and fittings inside and out of the property, broken worktop in the kitchen, holes in the double glazing door frame, keeping pets and moving another person into the property...the list goes on) Astons also failed to get the fire safety certificate completed. I am more than disappointed with the service I received and especially the excuses being made by Astons at their own neglect.... Read more
