This was my first time letting a property and dealing with Bairstow Eves. Before making my decision I engaged with a number of letting agencies to get the best deal. Some were too expensive, others didn't respond, some were too pushy etc.
In the end I decided to engage Bairstow Eves because 1) they were very responsive, Blake and Sean were very attentive and easy to engage 2) when I met Sean I felt I could work with him. He was honest and open with me.
Soon after I got a private offer to rent the flat and told Sean I no longer needed his services. I was surprised by how understanding he was.

Unfortunately a few weeks, the private rental didn't come through and I went back to Sean and he was very welcoming.

Since then the service from Sean (and Blake in his absence) has been outstanding. Sean calls me nearly everyday to give a short update on progress etc. He has made the rental of the property hassle free for me. I feel they are people you can trust.

I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves if you are considering renting or letting a property.

My husband and I are first time landlords and were not very confident facing the future with letting and dealing with tenants. We had an empty flat and simply needed it rented!
Anton came to view it....let me pause and say, 'Anton was the man for the job!!!!' He is extremely knowledgeable in the housing field and was a joy to meet. Within 3 days after visiting the flat, the team found someone who signed up straightaway. I get the feeling that even if things did not move as quickly as they did, they would have pulled out all the stops to make it happen. The team are keen and proactive. 'No-one drops the ball' They are very friendly and put you at ease the moment you walk into their office. Thank you guys for the hand-holding....as our portfolio grows, guess who we will be making a beeline for.....? Braistow Eves!

Does anyone know if this branch still has the policy of not accepting offers unless you go through their recommended mortgage broker?
I already have a mortgage approval in principal and quite happy with the amount I can borrow and the advised rate, also I don't want another broker running quotes which could affect my credit score.
