I have been renting my property in Battersea with Bairstow Eves at Clapham Junction for 3 years now and they have been BRILLIANT.
Right from the very first manager to the current lettings manager, Afsheen Shampour and his colleague Petya Daneva.
These two are very approachable and have been supportive and to my view very humble!!!!!!
They listen to me, they take my phone calls or promptly reply to them and to my emails. If ever there is anything that I am not sure of, they do patiently explain it to my understanding.
I was with FOXTONS at Vauxhall before I moved the renting of my property to Bairstow Eves, Battersea and I can confidently say that my experience with Ash and Petya, Bairstow Eves at Clapham Junction is a billion times better than that with FOXTONS!!!!!!!

Incredibly rude! The man who answered our phone query about a property is meant to be a SALES man? Even though the property was not suitable, instead of being rude he could have got our details and suggested other properties or kept us on file, as we are actively looking to buy. Not to mention he lost any chance of listing our flat for sale! Manager - please train your staff how to turn disappointed enquirers into potential customers ... and ask staff to have some manners.

Ross Mansbridge is the best estate agent I’ve met in London.
He is outstanding. thoughtful , responsive and extremely professional.. Ross has been very supportive in helping me find the best property in my budget which has been challenging.
He has also been very helpful with any questions I have had. He is easily contactable, more than happy to answer additional questions and goes out of his way to find viewing times which fit me.

I've had literally no period without tenants - one out one in same weekend.
We’ve a flat in Battersea which has been successfully let through Lavender Hill Bairestoweves for many years. After recent departure of long term tenants the property was in need of a “refurb & refresh” prior to welcoming new tenants. The team at Lavender Hill were delightful to deal with. Ryan arranged & coordinated numerous trades to quickly& efficiently bring the property back up to spec, allowing me to furnish & style the property and have it back on the market 3 weeks after vacation. Ryan & Ben secured really competitive rates with local tradesmen & the work was completed to high standard. Obi showed the flat once I had restyled it & found lovely new tenants within the first weekend. Petra & Camilla completed follow up & relevant administration & were efficient, responsive & friendly. I bought 2 Flats from Bairstow Eves in 2014/15 and they have let them successfully ever since. The Lettings Team are always courteous, efficient, responsive and behave very professionally. With one flat I have had several sets of tenants but have only experience one long void between tenants and that was during Covid Lockdown, no fault of theirs. With the other flat I purchased it with the 3 tenants who stayed over 5 years and only left 2 weeks ago. Again, only one week's void. The team are proactive in finding new tenants and always guide me as to whom might be the best tenants to choose. A good service all round and Thank you.

I moved out of a property with them in July and still yet to receive my deposit back. I keep have to chase them why and they can’t give me an answer. Only now over 2 months later they tell me that they cannot release the money as 2 of the tenants still live there and I need to get it off them. This is unacceptable, as they were never going to tell me this information unless I had asked for it.

Myself and my partner were looking for a new property during the lockdown situation. We had found a couple of properties that were both of interest and we had a response from Marcus very promptly who set up a physical show around one of the properties with Ryan and Marcus offered a video and extensive detail of the other property. Marcus was very responsive throughout and answered all of my questions whilst being friendly and professional. When it came to putting our offer in the referencing was very simple and again Marcus was on hand. He seemed to be working all hours of every day including weekends!!
Once the lockdown had eased Ryan met with me so that I could look around the flat we signed for but only seen a video of and he was very friendly. On the moving in day there was a crossed wire about our key collection but Ryan went above and beyond by coming to drop the keys to us resolving the issue within 10 minutes. Overall excellent service and communication from both of them and would recommend!

By far the worst real estate agent I have ever been involved with. The rental home we were to move into late last year was undergoing renovations at the time of the viewing and was promised to be completed by 21st November and effectively unfurnished. Move in day arrives and there are still two workers plastering and painting the ceilings and walls amongst other things, meaning the property was filthy and uninhabitable. The house had also been left full of the previous tenants furniture leaving no room for our own. The inventory report could not be completed that day either for obvious reasons. This delayed our move in date by 2 weeks until the 3rd of December and left us stuck with an uninhabitable property.
Incredible lack of communication in any form from Bairstow Eves' end, both throughout the moving in process and now while we are still awaiting further repairs to be done to the house (2 months now). Many emails sent without response to multiple staff members.
Avoid at all costs and save yourselves the trouble of dealing with this company.

They are very unprofessional: they were cancelling my viewing several times and posticipating viewing for another day... When finally I discovered they gave the property to someone else!!! Just be honest and say if property is not available, don't keep people waiting for a property that has already been let. This is wasting people time!!! I guess they do the same with their tenants...

Received two very rude and aggressive cold calls from a bairstow agent who proclaimed himself to be "KING OF BATTERSEA", badmouthing my current estate agency and instigating I am an idiot to not sign up with him.
Recently, when we called bairstow battersea enquiring about another house on sale with them, same "king of battersea" told us bluntly that THEY CANNOT SHOW US THE PROPERTY UNTIL WE REDUCE PRICE ON OUR FLAT!!.
These condescending pressure tactics doesn't work on most people but I fear for older and vulnerable people who may be his targets!!

Didn't have a great experience with this estate agency. Firstly, one of the agents couldn't get access to the property for viewing. Another agent had to step in, but unfortunately he didn't know much about the property (especially about what furniture belong to the tenant, and what will be there for us when we move in). Turned out that most of the furniture belonged to the previous tenant. We asked for the flat to be professionally cleaned, it wasn't cleaned at all. We were unable to check the standard of redecorating in the bathroom (only shown poor quality pictures) and paint started to come off after two weeks. When signing the contract, they forgot to tell us to set up standing order for rent (only hid the form within email attachments and post which we didn't go through as we thought it's the same as what we've been shown while signing the contract). When we discovered that rent hasn't been collected and reported it, we were treated like it's our fault. During the whole process we were dealing with three different agents.
I don't recommend it.

Lack of communication specially with Mehmet and Luis, once you pay the deposit they don't care about you and your interests. I called the office once asking for Mehmed while standing outside, I was told he wasn't there while I was looking at him through the window!!!!!
They don't know the meaning of professionalism, don't meet their obligation and responsibility as an state agent (although we pay agency fee,...) if something gets broken, you better spend your money and fix it yourself because they won't take responsibility, they won't send someone to fix it.
Horrible service, don't waste your money. stay away!!!

A complete break down in communication and the agents didn't look out for my interests.
I was excited to rent a refurb from them off Wandsworth road, only for my ceiling to fall through - after 2 weeks of moving in. If I had been in the bed at this time I could have died:
I completely understand this isn't the estate agents fault, but it was their job and duty to find me alternative accommodation, which they failed to do. They didn't even offer me storage for my belongings. Or offer to help move my things. When I called the agent, Mehmet, said that it wasn't 'his problem'.
I'd lack to add that I wasn't even offered an apology for the state of my bedroom until I called up and demanded one.
Discussing service, horrible company, stay away.
