Sam was helpful with the purchase of the property. There were a few efficiencies that couldve been made - as is in any process. My name was spelt wrong in the initial checks that caused a little double work (by another colleague I think?). Either way the process was smooth and we were in contact most of the process. Albeit it was more us giving the agency an update on where we got with things than the other way about.
Regardless everything - Sam has been very helpful in answering all the possibly dumb questions I had when it came to the sale.

Amy has been brilliant. She over saw the work on my fathers property in Purley and decorated it in a really tasteful way. She has been great with the tenants and is incredibly helpful and hard working. She is a massive asset to Bairstow Eves. I'm not sure why UCLan Animation has come up but this is my work sign in and I'm not sure how to get out of it!! I live in Lancashire and so it was hard for me to visit but I felt safe in Amy's capable hands. She is a good communicator.

Avoid renting your property with this company. I provided notice months ago to end my contract with them and this hasn’t been done. I raised a complaint and received an unsatisfactory response. They never bother getting back to you when you call or email. Worst company ever - look elsewhere if you want to rent your property.

We approached Barstow Eves to help us to secure a new tenant for our rental property as the existing tenancy was coming to an end. Our initial contact was with Marcus who carried out the valuation and prepared the marketing information.
Following that our main contact was with Sophie, whom we found to be professional, efficient, persistent, an excellent communicator and overall, a pleasure to work with. She arranged viewings and sourced potential tenants until she found us the perfect fit. She also provided us with regular feedback and talked us through the whole process.

Friendly stuff ,unexperienced but friendly until the date we received our flat's key,after that date and for the rest of our renting period almost 1 and half year they are disappeared as letting agency . They only care for the tenants to sign contracts and get paid their commission.
I was believed Acorn was the worst but Bairstoweves (Purley office) is far the worst.
I don't recommend anyone to use them .

Thank you to all the team who made my recent purchase of a buy-to-let property smooth. I have bought two properties from Bairstowe Eves in the area.
Aimee was great. She informed me of a property that I didn't realise was for sale. They listened to me when I said that the price was too high as I had bought a similar property in the same block.
The communication was smooth and they were very patient with me as I also am a surgeon running a private practice so had only small amounts of the time during the day.
Julie was amazing at finding a tenant to move in only a few days after completion.

My sale took 6 months to complete due to incompetent solicitors.
I still think it would not be completed untill now. If it wasn't for the persistent of bairstow eves
everyone was helpful in particular luke from the purley branch went above and beyond trying to get the sale through which he did.

I just got off the phone to a lady( can't unfortunately remember the name) to enquire about a property and the response was very careless and unprofessional. If a property is not available anymore there's ways to communicate certain information to your customer, with respect. All I've been told as an answer was" this house it's not available anymore! I wanted to enquire about other properties but she just evidently wanted to put the phone down so I managed to tell her quickly that I wanted to ask about other properties and the answer was "no we don't have anything, thanks for calling,bye". Very careless, unprofessional, nonchalant and rude. I wonder what the service is like throughout the process to rent with this agency if such a small and simple communication can't even be handled politely and respectfully. I DO NOT recommend this agency. Very poor and careless customer service.

The Above was the comment I left when I was given false promises by the agents and they are the most unprofessional bunch of people you will be dealing with if you choose to do so.
1. Promises that they don't honour
2. Rude staff who fake care only till they receive the money and then they are like who are you?
3. I was told by my friend mentioned above that they don't care about tenants its only Landlords who matter to them.
4. Trying to escalate to the Branch Manager was a waste of time and was faced with humiliation.
5. Eventhough they made mistakes by giving false deadlines and promises i paid the cost of £800 for a flat i never moved into.
5.trying to dump damaged properties with promises to fix but guess what ?nothing happens when you move in. luckily I didn't.
Its not the whole Bairstow Eves team to blame but a people like above mentioned individual and his Branch Manager bring a very bad reputation for the whole multinational organisation.

I bought a property through Bairstow Eves Estates Agent Purley. I am very grateful to have Luke (the branch manager) took care between me and the seller. It wasn’t easy at all I must say (it was like a full marathons!), there were so many challenges and unknowns throughout the whole process, one after another and another one. From the beginning until completion, for 5 months Luke was always there whether by WhatsApp messages, emails or phone calls to help, to find out, to follow up and to answer all queries and activities. He was honest, approachable, responsive and informative. He consistently engaged with both seller and buyer parties (incl. solicitors) to ensure everything is continue moving forward until completion, the final finishing line. Not to mention, Luke also went the extra miles and visited the property for few times based on my requests to take some videos inside the property when I can’t be there. Even after completion, Luke was still there to offer his help...

I had an excellent experience purchasing a property through Bairstow Eves recently. My regular contacts Camilla and Sophie were both helpful and efficient. They were quick to find out the answer for any of my queries with the property, and offered useful suggestions as to where to find them if they couldn't answer. The in-house broker Jess was also very good at finding me the cheapest mortgage for my needs (confirmed via subsequent searches on money comparison websites) and made the process completely painfree for me. They were very quick to communicate regarding any development and progress. Highly recommended and I will probably be using them when it comes to selling the place in the future.

Lettings Manager Julie Goddard flat out refused to return our tenants deposit to us after our inventory highlighted some damage. TenantS have accepted all liability and want the whole deposit returned to us for additional missed rent also, but Julie refuses to release deposit to us because “they are not paid to deal with deposit issues”. Bairstow Eves registered the deposit and are therefore the only party that can access it. I have been refused access to the account from ‘my deposits’ protection scheme despite my efforts to attempt to mediate the situation myself. This seems highly illegal that Bairstow Eves can just decide not to act to essentially keep the deposit. So we now have the headache of raising a formal complaint with The Property Ombudsman which takes weeks and is completely unnecessary. We are very disappointed at Bairstow Eves highly unprofessional and deliberately difficult stance on the matter. They were great at the beginning when we were giving them money but now there are some administrational matters to deal with, which they will not be receiving any further income for, they are being extremely difficult. I own a few properties and am used to dealing with agents and most are ok, but a true test of a good business relationship is when things are difficult, not when they are easy. I would not recommend Bairstow Eves as a result of this experience as their compliance team are equally as difficult, unnecessarily protracting the whole situation with weeks of investigation and lots of avoidance tactics. I’ve been waiting nearly 3 months and counting for the return of this deposit to date since our tenant moved out. Avoid this company at all cost.

We couldn't recommend Luke and his team more highly. On top of the Brexit shenanigans and a clutch of prospective buyers deliberately trying to exploit a falling market, we were worried that getting a decent price for our home, or selling it at all, was a particularly big 'ask'. Luke impressed us from the off with sound, intelligent advice and a personal service that was second to none. He was friendly, approachable, open and honest; and, importantly, always there at the end of the phone. So, we pretty much put ourselves in his hands.
To say that achieving the sale was challenging would be a classic understatement! It was a stressful roller coaster ride with some unpleasant surprises and difficulties along the way. On more than one occasion, we honestly thought it was 'game over'. But Luke never stopped fighting our corner. He successfully navigated us through some pretty choppy waters when some serious issues threatened our sale and, in the end, against the odds, hauled us over the finishing line. Also, given the difficult market conditions, he got us a pretty decent price. So, we were able to breathe a massive sigh of relief and break open the champers!
A truly great result and we raise our glasses to Luke and his team. Thanks for everything, guys, especially you, Luke; we owe you.

Luke the Manager is there if any problems arise.
Then there is Sophie who was involved in our last sale..She has a very posative attitude and is the sort of person that what ever you ask her she seems to be able to produce a great result. I cannot thank her enough for doing our viewings and even helps with our dogs.
Camilla has just joined the team and again is a cheerful lady with a can do attitude.
All in all I would never hesitate to recommend them..Some people say big companies are not personnel but in this case this is untrue as you could not find a more friendly reliable team of people

I am currently in the process of buying my first flat through Bairstow Eves in Purley. The first time I walked in I had a warm welcome from Sophie who has looked after me throughout, she has been more than happy to answer all my questions and explained each stage of the process. I also attended a launch event for the flat where I was greeted well by all of the staff who were all happy to assist me in my flat purchase. This is a friendly branch who I would recommend to family and friends. Fingers crossed the rest of my experience with them goes just as well, although I am sure it will!

The day I went to register with Bairstow Eves, Camilla welcomed us. From that day on the whole Bairstow Eves team started to send quite relevant properties to us, from different headquarters and from the same office; with time I got to know many of the staff. Everyone is kind and wants to help. Especially Camilla who is a young lady who knows how to listen, who really understands what your needs are, who cares. She is not a lady of so many words, but she answers precisely and clearly, if she doesn't know the exact answer, she asks and then comes back to you. In two words, she is: efficient and kind. After renting a property from bairstowe eves purley branch for the last two years, I feel compelled to leave a review after having a nightmare experience previously. I have dealt mainly with julie goddard and more recently ignas pylibas, both are utmost professionals always friendly and never made me feel anything other than being there when we needed them. All queries were dealt with swiftly and amicably. Upon moving out everything regarding viewings and such have been tailored to suit us at a time that was convenient for us. Absolutely brilliant service would reccomend to anyone who has had a previous bad experience like me or would just like a service many offer but juat simply dont provide, Bairstowe eves julie and team have been brilliant. Its unfortunate we womt be renting our next property with you.

The start of the process was excellent as Bella got my property on the market really quickly and I soon had viewings and accepted an offer. Unfortunately, the process then all went a bit wrong once it went to the solicitors. Frustration was mounting rapidly but the advice I was given from Bella and James was, in retrospect, absolutely right and I'm glad I stuck with it. They were instrumental in getting the problems resolved and the sale has now gone through. Later than hoped but I can now see that given the issues this really was as quick as it could have been so I'm very happy.

Just recently let a property through Bairstow Eves. Ignas was the letting agent. I fond him an excellent negotiator. He secured a discount on fess and on the monthly rent of the property for me. Ignas was very professional throughout our dealings and a credit to this agent.
Only experience I had that could have being better is being told there was issue with my wife's visa and then it was ok again. This caused my family huge stress at the last minute. This should have being advised earlier in the letting process and should have being researched properly. With that said things happen and bairstow eves resolved this quickly and efficently and am very happy now.

I would highly recommend Isabelle Salih-Wisdom. Miss Salih-Wisdom is an amazing individual. She promised to find me a buyer for my property and within 3 weeks of her being instructed she found me another colleague to assist her in finding a buyer.
Miss Saleh-Wisdom is a woman of her word, she is persistent and has a genuine desire to find her clients the home they are looking for however long and however hard the challenge may be. She goes the extra mile to deliver a greater than expected service and invests her time in the project. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional with the heart of a dolphin but a mind of a shark.

Julie and Ayden came to appraise the property and gave us very good advice on how to make the property more desirable.
