We finally sold our property after being on the market for two years. The sales process took 8 months from initial offer and proved to be a tortuous affair due to a number of reasons not least a difficult buyer. Our Balfours representative, Charlie Giffard, maintained a very professional approach throughout this time and helped tremendously to manage some rather difficult conversations and challenges. Remember: Not all estate agents are equal. We are very pleased, and indeed relieved, to have chosen Balfours for our sale: a complex transaction involving residential and commercial elements, with the added pressure of completion before 30/06/21. From hitting market to accepting an offer (which incidentally was significantly higher than guide price) to completion took 9 weeks, in part due to some sage advice from Balfours' Charlie Giffard. A Herculean effort during an unprecedentedly busy time for the market. Charlie was a source of constant support and we valued greatly the depth and breadth of his experience. In a market seemingly besieged by bad reputations and even worse service, Balfours did that most rare thing: achieved EXACTLY what we wanted them to, in the way we wanted them to. Superb....
