2023 Alistair valued our property. He was due to visit today after me emailing calling and no responses. Thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt, to get a phone call one hour before to say his valuation would be the same as two years ago, I have already highlighted we have spent 200 k since then and doubled our turn over!! I had done my due diligence and know from other properties sold recently what our property is worth, to be told he’s not the company for us !!! when we have received well above his thoughts. We had a letter through our door to say they had several interested buyers. We followed up and called the estate agents where we spoke to Alistair (director), who informed us that it was a generic letter with incorrect information and went on to tell us our property wasn’t worth the value it is on the market for. Rude and unprofessional. We would not consider recommending them. There are better ways to win business than insulting buyers and rubbishing competitors on the phone.... Read more

I went to view a property with this agency, it was a great experience we really enjoyed the property. We asked to view the property again to bring some family members across (it is a generational property for our family) and we received an email from Clare (accidentally sent to us instead of her manager) stating that she was anxious about us viewing the property and whether we were extremist. Clearly derogatory and racist comments being made behind the scenes which is is very unprofessional and unacceptable. S&P were the estate agents our vendors were using. First impressions, while viewing were poor, the staff were aggressive on the phone and impatient. Once offers were happening they became more pleasant. During conveyance and to completion the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Afterwards the rightmove listing would not be removed for a month, which we were very unhappy about. Overall we would not use S&P to sell for us, although some of the staff were excellent.... Have rented off Strutt and Parker only a few months, my house has was let illegally with electrics not up to current standards, electrical sockets broken, no heating or hot water and the house was filthy dirty along with a faulty boiler giving off poisonous carbon monoxide and Now with the cooler weather severe mould has started to appear and has been reported on several occasions. Jessica and Jenna from the Shrewsbury office have failed to do anything about it other than send a PAINTER AND DECORATOR round to give a quote to cover up the job rather than actually correct it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS as the repairs that are reported will not be done. I had my carbon monoxide detector go off one evening and I was told to open a window!! With 4 kids in the house! When an engineer finally came out the readings were at over 5000 when I was told normal is 100 or less. Now have Shropshire environmental health involved because they expect rent yet fail to make sure that their tenants have a safe place to live!! Don’t even deserve one star!... Read more
