Rachael (Whitchurch) was a great help with applications and even took time to arrange a further meeting following initial unsuccessful application which then resulted in securing the property the second time round.
When other estate agencies were very dismissive I found Barbers looked past my previous circumstances.
Thankyou so much for helping me obtain my new home!... Read more

I initially left a one star review with no comment. However I was then emailed by an agent of Barbers trying to persuade me to take down my review, which is pretty dishonest and badgering if you ask me. Me and my partner had a disappointing and upsetting experience moving into our new property and beginning our new tenancy through Barbers. We were advised which energy provider to use and that the debt on the accounts from previous tenants would be wiped once we registered with the provider. On moving day, it is sub-zero temperatures, snowing and we enter the property to find there is absolutely no power, no heating, no lights, no nothing. We are informed by the energy provider that because of the previous tenant's debt, they will not supply any power into the property. This left us with no means to heat the property, prepare food or use lighting. The property was uninhabitable. Barbers claim this is not their issue as they "didn't have the property before". As a professional agency, you would think you would be knowledgeable about the properties you are marketing and any debts that may be wrapped up in them. I'm addition to being provided with false information regarding the account debt, we have also been fobbed off and passed back and forth between the letting agency and the energy supplier, neither of which want to take accountability or even just care about basic human rights. To then be accosted by agents of Barbers to remove my perfectly legitimate review is just the cherry on top of my extremely poor experience as a tenant with them.... Read more

We are very grateful to the team at Barbers for their personal support and professionalism when they managed the sale of our house recently. From start to finish, they helped us through a very stressful time, and we would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking to sell their property. Huge thanks to everyone, and especially Gail Hodgson, who kept us calm when the going got tough!... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
