We had met many agents while looking for a flat and I have to say Steve was one of the best! Great communication, punctual, forthcoming, polite. No pressure and tricks that some other agents use. He also helped us out with a few "moving in" formalities (which he didn't have to do), which we are grateful for. We are very happy with our new home and highly recommend Steve & Bardens Estates.

Avoid this agent at all cost. Called them at 9am the day after an ad was posted. They said that line was busy so I tried calling a few times to no avail. Repeated this for the next few days and got the same response - "busy line, we will request an urgent callback". 2 weeks later, no responses still.

A client of mine was struggling to help find her refugee friends living accommodation in Tunbridge wells. They had been housed by the council in Horsmonden, but where they didn’t drive, they were struggling to commute to work due to limited public transportation. When my client approached a few local estate agents, she was shocked to find that none of them were willing to help.

Bardens (in particular Steve) have been AMAZING! After an awful experience with another local estate agent I was losing hope.

Bardens provides an excellent service. Very professional and they get the job of selling your house done, quickly and efficiently. Bardens are genuine in that they won't tell you an over-inflated sales figure that your house could go for, they tell you a realistic price that will get it sold. My house went on the market in December and we had an offer at the asking price in the first few weeks, while a house in the neighbouring street is still on the market for sale at an unrealistic price. They also work hard on progressing the sale through and dealing with any issues that come up along the way. I definitely recommend.

Good customer service is rare, excellent customer service even rarer but excellent customer service is exactly what Bardens and Steve Woods gives. Steve is passionate about selling houses and obtaining the right house for his clients.
I inherited my family home and selling it was a very difficult experience but Steve was outstanding in his advice and support, he really believes in what he does and is the consummate professional.
Never having sold a property before I made the mistake of going to a High Street chain of estate agents first a big mistake, within two weeks they had actually damaged my property so I made the change to Bardens and within 5 weeks my property had sold for the full asking price.
If you want a professional and not the office junior to buy and sell your properties go to Bardens.

Wow Steve was fantastic. I had to help an elderly lady to find a rental flat. She didn't use Internet and she was left out as many people who don't use computers or smart phones, specially during covid lockdown. Steve went out of his way to help the lady to get a flat, he adapted his service to her personal needs that was very impressive. He is a real human being and he understood everyone is unique with individual circumstances. Thank you Steve for all your efforts. Keep up the good work.

Bardens Estates recently dealt with the sale of my Mother in Laws late Fathers house. My Mother in Law first met Steve on 28th May 2020 and found him to be helpful, friendly and competitive in the market. On 10th June the house went on the market and by 12th June 6 viewings had been agreed and several offers were made. The sale was agreed on 15th June and the family were pleased to receive £10,000 over the asking price, the sale was completed on 9th October. She found Steve a good communicator throughout, he would give regular updates and nudges where necessary. We went with Steve to sell my Mum's house because of the great reviews. We were not disappointed. This was a tricky sale, it lasted over 12 months because of Covid, the uncertainties and the snails pace mortgage companies and solicitors seem to be working at.
Throughout it all Steve was very mindful of Covid, especially as my mum is in her 80s. He kept us informed and moved everything along as quickly as it was possible to do. And even after it had gone through he made sure he swept up some of the admin bits like meter readings.
You get the real impression that he cares, about his clients, his buyers and his reputation. Great job well done - we can't recommend him highly enough.

Steve was fantastic from start to finish managing the sale of our property. The whole thing lasted 12 months and remarkably survived the uncertainty of covid-19.
