Belvoir Long Eaton have been managing our property since 2016. Most recently Libby Mellors who was involved in tenant search had been a great help to us. Providing advice on screening and selection of prospective tenants; proactively keeping us updated when necessary, it was a very stress free experience whilst finding a right tenant on time was critical to ensure continued income therefore we didn’t have to be out of pocket for the mortgage repayment. Over the years we have had interactions with all the branch members who have always shown very prompt, fair and considerate approach to our interests.

Belvoir are the letting agents in charge of the current property that my partner and I are renting, and I've so far been very pleased with the service that we've received.
When we initially enquired about the property, there was some hesitation in our application due to us not being able to visit the property, but Belvoir advised us of the risks associated with this and still submitted our application regardless. We were informed that we'd offered the tenancy of the property and Belvoir were then helpful in helping us collate the relevant documents and set a move-in date.
Since then, Belvoir have responded to our queries about the property promptly and have ensured at all times that everything in the property is working as and when required, and despite having to carry out some significant work to the house, Belvoir have been superb in ensuring this gets done.

Very good from day one back in 2014 after being shown around 2 flats by a very friendly agent, I have always had a very quick response from anything I have had to approach Belvoir for. Belvoir have fully managed my apartment lettings for the last 13 years. They are always responsive, professional and prepared to make recommendations. The staff easy to work with, give good market advise, find new tenants quickly and advised of any work needed to keep the property well maintained. When we've had any problem tenant they have helped me through the steps to obtaining possession (key item I have learned from experience has been ensuring rent insurance s in place which was done via belvoir so they can directly assist).
Having recently had a 2 month window to sell the property when a tenant served notice, we instructed Belvoir to sell (and relet if there was no interest in that short timeframe). Natasha found a buyer and worked hard throughout to keep the transaction moving with regular check in's to all parties. They also checked on the property and arranged removal of my furniture. Excellent work during a challenging period with covid 19, reasonable fees and highly recommend for both lettings and sales.

Their lettings department will mess you around and won't bother to contact you back when they claim they will.
They don't even manage a minimum level of service and do not give you fair opportunities for viewings or to apply for properties.

It was quick and easy to let through Belvoir Long Eaton. The house was handed over to us in clean and tidy state. Only slight draw back is the inventory seemed sparse and not entirely accurate but they were quick to accept our updated version.

If I could rate them 0 I would. Me and my partner went to Belvoir to rent for the first time, with troubles already occurring before we moved in ( landlords problem) by not removing the furniture Belvoir did sort this problem out and me and my partner thought everything would be amazing living together for the first time.
However mould was building up in the bathroom which took months to address and then finally grant came out to see it with a contractor and was very rude towards us both in this process, the contractor pointed out the windows wasn’t ceiled in the flat nor was there a working fire alarm! The mould has previously been painted over! We signed a 6 month contract and decided to leave after 4 months, you would think this is easy leaving seeing as the condition was attrotious! But no we had to have viewings to let some other poor lady move in and deal with the mould. After stating we would take this further to an ombudsmen we was told that we was making threats. Towards the end Sharee was the only helpful one, I would ring every day and was made to feel a pain, I could never get hold of grant he seemed disappear in to thin air. Please go to any other letting agents but this one I promise you its not worth the time, money or stress this company have caused me and my partner! To top the situation off I was diagnosed with, bronchitis and made asmatic due to the conditions of this property.

It was originally repossessed and the repossession comapany were a nightmare to communicate with but they persued, ringing, emailing and contacting them anyway they could always pushing with our best interests at heart. Absolutely Fabulous Service right from the start. So happy we chose to go with Belvoir.
The pictures were great and they gave us a good selection to choose from, they kept us up to date with everything that was happening and were very proactive with the viewings. Even happy to work outside of their working hours to ensure we got in as many viewings as we could.

I have been a tenant through Belvoir for over 3 years and I can honestly say I have felt really looked after by them. The only major problem I have had is with the boiler breaking down. Jayde at Long Eaton was straight on the case! As it was during a cold snap, a replacement boiler could not be fitted until the following week but Jayde was really concerned for my welfare. She offered to drop heaters off to me on her way home from work & made sure I had somewhere to go for showers etc. After the boiler was fitted there was a problem. Once again Jayde made sure an engineer came out the same day & liaised with me with many phone calls. She really couldn't do enough. I have found all of the staff at Long Eaton really helpful & friendly so I feel I can call on them at any time even with minor problems. I am extremely pleased with the service they provide.

Currently using Belvoir Notts as my estate agent to rent a flat. The team is very professional and friendly. Sales people are wiling to go extra mile to support you in finding the right place and maintenance team always finding a timely solution to any issues you might experience. The only thing that could be improved is the contractors they use, some of them are great, while with others sometimes it can take ages for them to contact you, even after you leave 3-4 VMs during the week. No negativity towards the Belvoir though, as they contacting these guys quickly all the time. Would recommend using Belvoir services for sure - trusted team and great service overall.

I have used Belvoir Lettings for 10 years now, and they have always been helpful and pleasant to deal with. For the most part we have had very few gaps between tenancies. I can only recall one instance of excess time between tenants and that was due to prospective tenants changing their mind at the last minute rather than any fault of Belvoir Lettings. In fact, I'm more likely to have to beg for a bigger gap between tenants to ensure the property can be maintained to my specifications.
I have recommended Belvoir in Long Eaton to other landlords and most certainly would again.

Natasha was a delight to deal with and was very helpful and informative on all occasions. The house viewing went smoothly and we weren't hassled and were allowed to view the property at our own pace and spend as long as we liked looking around.
Belvoir! present a nice, no pressure atmosphere when dealing with their customers, so that you never feel like you have to commit to anything unless you're 100% certain.
Email correspondence was quick and easy to follow, and we were presented with all necessary information via email before we got the keys to the property.
All in all it's been a great experience, and if we continue renting in the future we will always consider Belvoir!

I've only been a landlord for a little under a year and have only dealt with Belvoir in that time so can't compare them with other agents. I use their fully managed service.
A good tenant was found relatively quickly and, crucially for me, the team are able to sort maintenance issues with very little input from me. Their network of contractors get work done with the minimum of fuss and charge reasonable rates.
Overall I've been very happy with the service provided by the team at Belvoir, Long Eaton and expect to stick with them for the foreseeable future.

Written from tenant's perspective.
Positive: they are generally quite good and prompt with sorting out issues.
Negatives:
- expensive (high application fees, £60 moving out fee even if property is perfect and nothing on inventory damage, £30 fee just to photocopy a document eg passport)
- cannot be trusted to deliver on commitments, in my experience (explanation below).
I had a mattress to dispose of, arranged the disposal, and was informed there would be a fee. I contacted Belvoir to ask if my costs would be covered for this - they said they would try to get hold of the landlord to ask or, if they couldn't reach him, make a decision in the office. They called me back to say 'go ahead, just get an invoice, send it to us and we'll reimburse you'. I paid the mattress collection service, got an invoice, sent it to Belvoir, and then they said "oh, it turns out the landlord doesn't want to pay, sorry." After arguing that it was THEIR responsibility to reimburse me whether or not the landlord would cover it or not since THEY told me to go ahead and make the payment and that I WOULD be reimbursed, they said, "ok, we'll forward it to the landlord". I reminded them that the landlord's input didn't really matter, since the agreement was between me and Belvoir who said I would be reimbursed (they never mentioned that the reimbursement was dependent on the landlord's later answer or anything, they just said 'go ahead, pay, you'll be paid back'). Eventually they responded with "the landlord has reluctantly agreed to pay".
So after lots of arguing, Belvoir soured my relationship with my landlord to cover their own mistake. Highly unprofessional and very disappointing, and they never even admitted to their mistake. They acted as if they'd done nothing wrong, and never apologised. This was all because I trusted them to deliver on their commitment that they made over the phone. It turns out they could not be trusted. Now, I make sure I get a written record of anything they say so that I have proof.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend.
