Truly awful. They will do nothing for you as a tenant whatsoever. They will give you a rotten, mice infested property (big time infested:), with a DEBT on electricity key meter, but pretend like they knew nothing about it. You’ve been warned…. I recommend paying a bit more for a nice property with a more professional and respected agency. But if you enjoy drama, cheapskate landlords, problems need fixing for months on end, leaks unresolved for 4-5 months on end, and non existent customer service, please do go for Black Katz, you'll love them then!... I would give zero stars but it's not available the option. Still unfinished business with them but it looks like the zero stars is the right amount they deserve. Only cared of the money but didn't care of sorting any mould problem in the property I lived. Now they are coming up to me to give them back mouldy and broken curtains. More to say but it's too long. I agree with any other people that gave 1 star. Absolutely rubbish! Do not use this agency. They don't care! I wrote this for me not for Black Katz. Who understands me will do. Black Katz you lost your lives just give up, change job! Ps to answer to their reply. There was mould in that house since I moved back in 2019 and before me leaving I'm told I have to pay money to get it cleaned, after I already cleaned as much as I could. Of course 2 months before leaving the house what else do you want to do if after 4 years you didn't care. What you want to show me you care at the end. Of they write something to save themselves. Who dealt with this agency knows what's the deal. Bye... Read more

We have been left with no hot water for a while now. Our boiler was flagged at the start of our tenancy as being old. After continuous reminders and emails and calls we still haven't been provided with a new boiler, and are still left to shower in cold water. Their excuse was that its been hectic. Hot water is a right and the Tenant agreement states that no hot water should be treated as an emergency. We are beyond engraged with the service provided by black katz. Do not use this agency.... I can hand on heart honestly say Black Katz would be the ones I would give any repeat business to based on their professionalism and ease with making the matter stress free. Like many people have said, terrible agency. Every problem we have takes ages to get sorted and it's insanely frustrating. Been now 4 days with a broken boiler, no heating and no hot water for 4 days, it's -5 degrees outside. I have to chase for an update and all I get is "I'm working on it". They do not comply with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 which states that a broken boiler is an emergency and it has to be fixed within 24 hours. Going to get professional advice now and see what happens. Ridiculous.... Read more

Incredibly average service, reluctance to help with maintenance issues after reporting having issues using their system. Renewal agent refused to take calls and made an error in our contract after having written agreement which resulted in us being forced out early, no explanation or apology, just avoidance of talking about the issue from their side. Also, a very high charge in regards to cleaning when moving out compared to other estate agents I have used previously. Would not recommend to others.... Read more

Worst lettings agency in London!!! Don’t use them if you’re a first time renting student. They pass the book on every problem. We have lived with our shower leaking into the kitchen for 4 months and everytime the engineer has come they do nothing. The previous tenants moved in with the same problem and they lived here for 2 years. The same problem for 2 1/2 years. Management are rude and they are unprofessional.... Read more
