As a landlord looking to rent out my property I approached Blackshaw Homes as they were most local to the area in Southchurch. I spoke with Linda the Lettings Manager and she was very responsive, enthusiastic and helpful. She viewed the property (this even included a walkthrough recorded to DVD so as to avoid any future disputes) and in less than a week she had found me the perfect tenants! It has been pleasing and reassuring that Linda has also been very responsive to my emails & phone calls throughout & she has liaised on my behalf with external professionals and the tenants to address a couple of issues for me.

We bought and sold properties through Blackshaws August 2019, moving from London to Southend, so needed help with local area information, general guidance and patience. We were so pleased with the whole service, from start to finish. They offered all ranges of help and assistance along the way with updates/news when required then helped once we moved in with additional assistance to make the whole process as smooth as possible.
We were helped by all staff when we called in the office by phone, all messages were passed on and nothing went ignored.
Perry and Debbie offered a wealth of knowledge, were helpful, kind and VERY patient. Nothing was too much.
All in all, we cannot recommend Blackshaws enough, they will make your whole experience with them a breeze.

I brought my house down Trinity Road in Southend from Blackshaws back in 2010 and had great service then. So when the time came to now sell my house I decided to use them again. The service hasn’t changed, It was sold within a month. They were contactable via telephone email and text (which helped when I had just a quick question to ask).

The sale process would not have been as smooth without them and I even got quicker answers from them than my solicitors.

I would be happy to recommend them to any of my family and friends and if the need ever arises again would use them in the future.
