If I could of put 0 stars I would of Pointless for this place to be up and running NO ONE and I mean no one ever replies to your emails, they advertise properties yet do not reply when your requesting a viewing

My experience of buying my new flat through Sorrell estate agents is most worthy of a review. I had lived in my previous property for over 17 years and the thought of home buying alone was quite daunting. Duncan Woods my estate agent was a credit to the profession, you hear so much bad press about estate agents but my experience was the complete opposite. I first saw the flat in November but did not have a buyer for mine so lost out to another buyer. Duncan knew that I was disappointed so when 3 months later the sale fell through he contacted me. I myself had a buyer and in March the buying procedure began, As we had just entered COVID19 lockdown the country came to a standstill. Not for Duncan and his team! The hurdles were many, Cladding certificates, slow solicitors and lack of willing visiting surveyors but throughout I was supported and advised. I finally got the keys to my beautiful seaside flat in September. I most certainly could not of done it without such an amazing bunch of people. I would not hesitate in recommending or using them again. Thank you Sorrell and Duncan

We cannot thank Sorrell Rental Management and the Sales Team enough.
The tenants suddenly left our rental property with rent arrears and
an incredible amount of abandoned belongings.
Alex efficiently sorted the house and prepared it for sale. His support
to meet the pedantic demands of the rent protection company was amazing.
Duncan from Sales achieved a speedy sale of the property.

A big thank you to Duncan and Stephen at Sorrell Property who went over and above to help with my move. The phone was always answered, calls always returned (if they weren't in the office at the time), emails were always responded to and they were extremely professional and helpful at all times. They always responded to my solicitor or the other agent in the chain swiftly, too. If I can ever face moving again (!), I will be using their services and will also be thoroughly recommending them to any friends and family members.

After years of disappointing service from other managing agents our accountant recommended Sorrell. The service has been excellent with regular accounts supplied which are entirely transparent and of great use for our accountant and tax return. The transfer over to Sorrell was swift and easy thanks to Alex and the accounts team and they have dealt with all my difficult tenants. Thoroughly recommended.

I want to give a massive shout-out to Duncan Woods at Sorrell's. A great professional, incredible helpful and first class customer service. Three months after moving into a property I bought through him, I needed to find out details on the paint that was used. Most estate agents would ignore requests for help after the sale, but Duncan was on it straight away. He contacted the builder who refurbished the property and had the details I needed within a couple of hours. Brilliant customer service. Thank you!

Very poor service it is obvious that the 5 star reviews are fictitious and posted by Sorrell themselves. This includes the Solicitor they are using to write threatening letters to anyone that challenges there status or indeed lack of it based on the real reviews.

I rented a shop through Sorrell's for many years, unfortunately due to relocating I no longer have the benifits of Sorrels great service. I rarely had a problem over my twenty year tenancy but when I did I would always get it sorted immediately and professionally. I have spoke to them but I don't like rented places really .I have been told they don't repair the locks or windows well I can't see a window breaking .but a lock might stop working .well I can,t do it I am 61 and disabled and find it hard to start with ,For 7 days I have no heating in my flat .My neighbour is not impressed either.Staff are nice but don,t really help me I can,t go down there very easy I suffer with my breathing and can't walk well my legs really hurt .my gate is broken too..Refused to do my door lock its been broke now for near a year let alone the outside the paint work is plaster is falling out the walls fence is falling down gate is broke all handles inside they no longer work electric wiring needs to be changed .Paint work I am unable to do so it it getting really the landlord refuses so to me Mr so so is just as bad all scrum bags,.and all the nonsense about they fix if you call them is total rubbish Well if the landlord don,t want to do it then when I die it cost him not me so in the end he will lose in the end,.And in more ways the one the more he leaves it the worse it gets So who is the idiot or scrum .And the property was meant to be mine but was taken from me and sold to sorrels .All don,t accept help when they do go down because if they have lasted still don,t make them perfect all are upper class twits.I bet they don't live like us,.This place was meant to mine not theirs they are not good don't use they will mess you up So landlord you will lose a lot when I die.

Awful agency, avoid like the plague! My mum sadly passed away earlier this year with cancer, me and my sister were given her house. I went away for 2 weeks and my sister thought it would be okay to manipulate me into stealing my keys. She puts the house on the market, I regain access to " MY " house, and Sorrell report that I am squatter when I am the son of my mums property. Handled it appallingly, lied and thinking its okay to make a grieving person homeless by assisting my sister, good work Sorrell ????????????

Just wanted to say thank goodenss we've sold after so many potential buyers messing us about. Thank you for all your help, your constant letting us know what was going on, all the viewings you did, dealing with the potential buyers and being very polite to all concerned. The agent we had previously didnt get back to us and it was always me trying to find out what was going on. It was refreshing change to have an commercial estate agent actually keep you informed. Do not waste your time or money with them. They did not return calls or give you confusing or untrue information. You may do business with Sorrell Southend if you have extra spare money for deposits, calls, transportation, fees or charges. Remember: you have been warned.

Twice now, over the past few years, I have phoned this 'Estate Agent' with enquiries about properties that they advertise for commercial rent.
Twice I have been fobbed off with no replies and vague comments about the owner being in two minds.
On neither occasion have they bothered to ask me what my rental requirements are.
I note that the first rental I was interested in has now been redeveloped.
I also note that the second is prime for redevelopment.
IMHO something dodgy is going on here.
