Bonds of Thornbury have been the best estate agents in Thornbury, having dealt with a few on our journey to our move to Thornbury. Brilliant to work with, no pressure, honest, sound advice and generally a great wealth of knowledge in this tricky business. Rowena was personal and professional selling us a home, not just a house. No job was too small for her, and she went above and beyond to get our chain moving. Rowena was excellent at finding out information (which others should have!) and keeping our chain on track. Truly a star in her line of business. Best estate agent in town.

I have recently sold my house through Bonds and was thoroughly impressed. Rowena was responsive to all queries, keeping me updated throughout. She never pressured me to reduce the price and we held out for the right buyers. During the final stages she was contacting both solicitors daily until exchange. A great local business that I would recommend.

I recently completed a purchase of a property marketed by Rowena, whilst obviously she was acting on behalf of the vendor, in my experience it is just as important that the agent develops a relationship with the buyer and both sets of solicitors. I know Estate Agents don't get a fair rap, from time to time, but Rowena was '110% sound' when dealing with our new home.
As she was very knowledgable about the area we moved into & gave us some good 'pointers' on reviving our new home.
She's very down to earth & honest, which is a rarity in this day & age, especially when looking for a new home.

Rowena treats you as an individual, not a sale. She is friendly, but always professional and very proactive. Her knowledge of the area as well as other services was invaluable - didn't need to shop around for EPC or a reliable conveyancing solicitor. We were selling my late father's house and Rowena was sympathetic to the emotion attached to a probate sale. Would happily recommend.

It was obvious right away that Bonds know the local market extremely well.
They advised on a realistic guide price to get the maximum interest in the property, and the photographs and advertising of the property were excellent.
After we accepted an offer that we were extremely pleased with, Rowena kept us informed of progress and her advice on ironing out the inevitable queries that come with house sales was invaluable, resulting in a prompt completion.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bonds, they were knowledgeable, professional and responsive.
