They have put a property for rent on Monday 16th September 2024, afternoon.
I have called them and they have arranged a viewing date with me.
Next day, at about 4:30pm I have received an email saying that my appointment is cancelled because tenant decided to stay.
I went to their website and it shows that this particular property has been let. There is a stamp on it “LET AGREED”
And they also said that the system marked the property itself as LET AGREED.

As a landlord, I decided to give the small local agent ago. I cannot speak highly enough of Megan and her team. Every aspect of dealing with Megan was excellent. Not a small thing in this day and age. Having got to know exactly what was important to us, Megan gave sound advice, opinions/suggestions backed up with facts and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was done in a timely manner. We could not have asked for better service.

Brambles showed us 2 properties, one with Kate and another with Ryan. We were so impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of both properties that we chose them to sell our home. I have employed Brambles for several years, and can recommend them unreservedly. They managed the letting of my Hamble house while I was working abroad, and when I decided to sell, they handled that effectively too. I have had ongoing contact with several members of the team, both in the lettings and sales departments, and without exception I have found them to be professional, helpful, capable, and really nice people to deal with. At all stages, I have had confidence in their professional judgement: I felt that they knew the market well, and were also looking out for my interests. I have also had the impression that they treated my tenants with courtesy as real people, which was important to me. Were I to return to the Hamble area in the future, they would certainly be the first people I would contact.

I would recommend Brambles in a heartbeat. The whole team have perfected the balance of friendly professionalism from the viewpoint of both a seller and a buyer. They acted efficiently and the whole team were involved in the sale - I had great confidence in them from the very start and always felt like I was in good hands.
I joked to Ryan on the Thursday that I wanted my house on the market by Friday, viewings on the Saturday and sold by the Monday. This is exactly what happened. Kate worked relentlessly to secure me several offers but is so friendly, professional and approachable I knew that the potential buyers would be fully trusting in her honest and knowledgeable negotiations. I am so pleased I chose Brambles and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The buying and selling of property is never straightforward and my recent move to Warsash took place in the aftermath of Truss and Quarteng and the ensuing economic troubles.
James and the team at Brambles were invaluable in the whole process; always on the end of the phone, always professional but kindly and understanding throughout. If they said they’d phone you back, they did… if they didn’t have the answer there and then, they found it.
Can’t recommend them enough… thorough and helpful… plus the nicest of welcoming smiles when you walked in the door!!

I cannot recommend Brambles highly enough. I was helping my Son to find an apartment to let and came across Brambles. I had contacted many other letting agents in the area and Brambles stood out as being the best in so many ways. Right from the very start from my initial enquiry right through to the signing of my Son's tenancy I felt very valued, important and so very well looked after. Megan looked after us and she went out of her way to ensure that we were kept informed every step of the way, nothing was ever too much trouble and it didn't matter how many times I emailed all called with questions or just for any updates Megan was always there to help and reassure us always reminding us that we could call anytime. She was wonderful and if anyone ever needs a letting agent then I would recommend you go to Brambles as they will make the whole experience of finding somewhere to live a pleasure.

From our first meeting with Kathryn we were so impressed with her professionalism and depth of knowledge and we knew straight away that we wanted Brambles to sell our property for us. The whole process was superbly managed by Ryan, who secured us a buyer for our house on the first viewing (whilst coping with the added challenge of our difficult cats!). Ryan then found us our perfect home in our ideal location and from that point on he managed the chain brilliantly, keeping us informed every step of the way. I was recommended Brambles, and specifically Megan, by my neighbour who lets out his house. I am so glad I bumped into him and took his advice! I was recommended to Brambles through a friend whom used their services 5 years ago! I got in touch with Megan on 1st Feb after having been searching to secure a rental property since the beginning of Jan 2022. During this search I have dealt with numerous Lettings Agents. There were only two which went beyond my expectations and I felt worked consistently on assisting me in what is an extremely competitive market. I found Megan to be extremely responsive, meticulous and professional in her approach. She is clearly dedicated to her role and is a true credit to Brambles. I have used Brambles to let and manage a property for over ten years with great results and service. Kathryn and her team have always been quick to respond and I particularly appreciated the manner in which they dealt with any issues by calling me or the tenants first rather than emailing. Understanding the urgency of the problem (heating issues/ leaks etc) is way better with a quick call as opposed to a faceless email that says ‘boilers broken so we’ve sent plumber round to fix it’. After ten years we decided to sell and it seemed only right that Brambles managed the sale for us. Again great service from Ryan and his team. The sale process is alway fraught with difficulties and delays but the process was well managed and I was kept informed and updated at regular intervals. A great working relationship for over ten years and would thoroughly recommend Brambles for Lettings and Sales.

Jemma is incredibly patronising and rude. Refused to answer my questions until I'd given over a huge amount of personal information and then refused to book a viewing because it's too early for us to be looking 6 weeks ahead.
Apparently this agency is doing well enough to reject renters because staff members are in a bad mood.
And I in no way misinterpreted her appalling tone, she was invasive and condescending and clearly enjoys welding power over people.
I do not have the luxury of just pickup up and moving halfway across the country on a whim. The property isn't even available for a fortnight, so we'd have looked at moving in a few weeks later. After having moved house 4 times in 5 years, I am well aware of how the rental system works and no landlord I've ever spoken to has been unwilling to wait 6 weeks for their property to be filled.
I do not appreciate being spoken down to and sneered at by a stranger just because they're having a bad day.
Avoid like the plague!
