Absolutely amazing work from all the staff at bridgefords especially Lindsay!
Her straightforward and swift processing of applications made it such a delight to move home (which we all know can be a nightmare) from a viewing to moving in less than 48 hours, it’s clear the whole team is committed to their customer satisfaction on both on a professional and personal level.
And the cherry on the cake was the lovely little welcome package I received upon moving in (it really is the little things)
Hopefully I won’t have to but if I do ever move again she will be my first point of contact! 5 stars!!!

I never had to chase them for anything, when they said they would call with an update they did, when they said they would chase something for me, they did.

James went above and beyond to help us source a contractor and liaised between them and the tenants directly to resolve the issue.
Throughout the process James has been polite, friendly and efficient. In particular, I have really valued his swift action and correspondence with us as landlords. I have felt that we have been kept up to date with the progress of the works at every stage.

Cannot thank and recommend the mortgage advisor here, Victoria Hock enough ! After a purchase nightmare, she stepped in and with in just under a week of speaking to her a mortgage offer was issued enabling the purchase to continue. Jane the branch manager runs a tight ship. She is always on top of everything and keeps you up to date and is on hand to support with advice, guidance and queries. During the sale of our property there was an issue due to the fact of the property having a septic tank and new legislation in place. Jane sorted everything out in order to ensure the sale progressed. Can’t rate her highly enough. Yes Bridgfords charge 1.5% and maybe you could get a deal for 1% elsewhere, however the old adage is you get what you pay for. The professionalism and customer service at Bridgfords is second to none and worth the money. I would highly recommend this estate agent if you are moving. You have seen the rest now choose the best. You won’t be disappointed.

Unfortunately for me ,I live next door to one of their rental properties.The owner stipulated no dogs,no smoking and only professionals.The tenants not only have two dangerous dogs which spend most of the time indoors,they smoke cannabis for up to 12 hours per day.This resulting in me having to vacate my home. I have been threatened and harassed by these tenants .Why? Because I decided not to stay quiet and accept their behaviour. Why should the house prices fall in this area due to the actions of antisocial tenants and fee hungry agents.
Bridgfords have been aware of this for months and choose to look the other way whilst profiting from the full management fees.They avoid my calls and have suggested I call the police or the council .One woman suggested I close my window.Incidentally it was closed.The smell permeates through the walls or floors. My question is would you like to live in a house stinking of 12 hour cannabis sessions? How well would you sleep at night? Sam , James ..Did you really see good references?I doubt it.
The tenants are in breach of contract and Bridgfords make financial gain from this property .Perhaps someone should remind them of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
What has to happen to this house or myself before this agency take action.Surely apart from their obligations to the owner ,the well being of local residents and their safety is paramount .
The owner of the property has bought into the full management option.She won't be happy when she sees the state of her garden or the stench of cannabis after they move.
I will certainly not be using this agency to market my property.

I rented a property via bridgfords .
Whilst the staff are lovely , unfortunately I was met with constant problems within the property . Damp, leaks , etc.
When things were reported it would take a while to have any response .
I have lived in the property which wasn’t fit for rental , and due to the horrendous condition of the damp it’s ruined so many precious items I cannot get back.
Landlord had stated after the move in that the property was damp and they had “dealt” with it.
Clearly this wasn’t the case .

As a landlord, I have used Countrywide to find me tenants for over 6 years. My property has been advertised well and appropriate checks carried out thoroughly and promptly. I didn't choose the fully managed package as it was far too expensive. They didn't always get back to me when they promised, following any queries I had. Also, they seem to have a high turnover of staff, as most of the ones I have dealt with have not stayed with the company very long.
I believe the local staff do their very best - they are knowledgeable, courteous and professional, but I suspect they are working under pressure a lot of the time (not uncommon these days) and probably don't feel as valued as they should by those much higher up the management ladder.

I asked a few of the local estate agents how much they would charge to put my property on the market. I informed Bridgfords they were too expensive and I wouldn't be using them. Not only were they too expensive I found them too corporate and pushy. Since that day they have continued to phone and email me every few days, I have informed them that I decided to go with a local independent estate agent but they still continue to bombard me with constant pushy sales calls, boardering on harassment!

Well where do I start ... Team Bridgfords (Bamber Bridge) Dan, Alison, Lisa & Jane what a fantastic team. Right from the very start up until the very end they all held our hand through the process of selling our home. This is the first time in 18 years that we have moved house and we felt quite nervous about it, but when Dan came round for the valuation he was smart, professional and put us at ease, so we acted straight away with them. You could call anytime and it didn’t really matter who you spoke to on the phone, they all knew what was going on. Always very helpful and professional.
Luckily for us our house sold quite quickly the team did a great job and this enabled us to find our dream home, it would of been ideal to have found a home that Bridgfords had on the market but unfortunately we found one via another estate agents.
We are so glad we chose not to go elsewhere Jane, and the rest of the team were worth every penny you certainly get the service you are paying for not just for getting viewers in or an offer through, but for actually getting us through to completion. The office environment is very happy and friendly and we felt welcome at any time. I actually felt like part of the team at times as the sale was going through.
Our chain wasn’t very big at all but we still had a good few bumps along the way which at times was very frustrating but Jane was fantastic working with me. I felt comfortable knowing our buyer was still happy to proceed even though there was a slight delay, Jane went above and beyond to assist me in chasing the estate agents we were buying from in order to speed things up and get everything back on track, she made us feel valued and kept reassuring us all would work out fine in the end.

I can highly recommend Bridgfrods Sales in Bamber Bridge. Jane the branch manager dealt with the sale of our home on Station Road in Bamber Bridge. We found her to be extremely knowledgeable on properties in the local area and helpful in advising us on the sale. The best thing was the level of tenacity on the commitment to selling our house - Bridgfords have a database of property buyers and contact them to market your home; they didn’t simply rely on ‘Rightmove traffic’. Our home was sold within 2 weeks, incidentally to a buyer Jane had contacted. Further to this Bridgfords were very efficient in communicating with our solicitor so as to get the sale completed as expeditiously as possible. I can honestly say they are worth every penny and we cannot recommend this branch & Jane inparticular enough.

At the start of 'looking for an estate agent' process, we debated long and hard over using an online 'fixed fee' agent. So glad we chose not to. Jane, Lisa and the rest of the team were worth every penny - not just for getting viewers and offers through, but for actually getting us through to completion.
We were part of a small chain and we had a good few humps along the road which at times I felt was going to cause a collapse in the chain. Not with Jane it wouldn't.
Honestly believe that without Bridgfords expertise and constant help our transaction would have fallen through. The team at Bamber Bridge were resolute in sorting out any issues. They even ended up sorting out problems that without doubt the vendors estate agent should have resolved. They did the job not only for us, but also for the vendors estate agents

Tried renting a property with them. Struggled to get them on the phone and would forget to call us back. We applied for the property to be told it's landlord choice of tenants and would be told very soon. 3 days later we have only just found out after constant ringing and no replies to messages. They said they have tried to call us but no miss calls at all. Going somewhere else now

If you're struggling to choose which estate agent to use, not sure who to trust to give you an amazing service, had a bad experience with estate agents in the past then please read this review. Jane, Simon and all the team at Bridgfords in Bamber Bridge go above and beyond the call of duty again and again. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They have recently sold a property for me in Lostock Hall. I live 200 miles away - not the easiest of circumstances but Jane and the team dealt with everything, viewings, letting in valuers and builders, reading meters - the list goes on. If it wasn't for their hard work and dedication the sale would never have gone through. Easily the best estate agents I have ever used. Honestly if you're selling a house in the area then Bridgfords Bamber Bridge are the people you need.

The house we were selling hadn't gone anywhere with the local estate agent we were with, so we switched to Brigfords. They were extremely effective at finding us a buyer. They have a positive 'can do' attitude that meant that they kept at it until they found us a buyer and then did everything they could to keep the chain together despite the usual nonsense from the solicitors along the way.
While its true that they may seem expensive, their list price is negotiable and paying a bit more for the agent was better for us than simply not selling at all.
I have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone selling a house.

We were moving into the area from Warrington and Lisa was brilliant setting up a full tour for us round the area looking at houses. They then helped us with buying our dream home and Jane was amazing at managing the long chain. We couldn't recommend them enough.

booked to look around a house to rent woman arrived rushed us around it and said some one else has jumped on to your viewing so we said we will take it she said pop in to our shop at 8.30am the next morning she was not in at that time she was late. the other viewer was also waiting who was supposed to view 2 days later and stole the house we wanted to rent even tho we was told to come in the next morning with the rip off £400 fees
