We had a great experience at Bridgfords finding a rental property from start to finish. They were super helpful when booking a viewing and fitting it in with our schedule. Our journey wasn’t smooth during the referencing process but Lyndsy was always super helpful and supportive and worked really hard to make sure we found a solution. She was great at keeping in touch with us throughout this process and communicating any updates. We had to leave our current property due to a terrible landlord and mould, and our letting agency weren’t very supportive.
Bridgfords on the otherhand have been fantastic, moving in was really simple and they were on hand to answer any of our questions! They’ve supported us while we’ve settled in, and at no point have we felt left in the dark.

I initially contacted them 8 months ago and it was their business acumen that they made contact with me this year. Within a couple of phone calls Lyndsy was at the house (same day) to view and advise on the rental. Once the house was on the market they found a tenant that has successfully moved in. All within a few weeks.

We approached Bridgefords having had no success in securing a 6 month let. Most agents advised it would be very difficult to secure a 6 month contract.
However, having been recommended by a friend to contact Bridgefords we did so and were not dissapointed.
We received exceptional service from the team there, especially Katie and Lyndsy. Their positive "can do" attitude was very reassuring. They matched our needs perfectly which resulted in us signing a lease and moving in a few weeks later ! Excellent, professional service from start to finish. Realistic, achievable sale price quoted for our house and we actually got a good offer on our first day of viewings. Brigfords came highly recommended to me for letting out properties and I can say the process was Seamless from start to finish. I instructed Brigfords to market my property for rent using their full management property service. The team were fantastic, the property was marketed to a high standard, and after only days days of viewings I had applications for tenants. All elements were taken care of including certificates for the property/ cleaning and any small maintenance items without me having to even think about it. The property had a let agreed within a few days of being on the market and there is a suitable family now in the home. Lyndsy my lettings manger and Katie the negotiator were particularly excellent. They met our requests for multiple viewings, they were there to contact when we needed them and would try their best to help us. Steph at the chorley branch, was always on hand, if she didn't know the answers there and then, she would definitely make sure that she called back promptly when she did. There were never any issues with asking them for direction or information.
The buying process seemed to take longer than expected but the team at chorley made sure that we had all the answers, kept up with the solicitors and kept us updated every step. They were very reassuring. Would definitely recommend Bridgefords!

One of the best estate agents we’ve used in Chorley. Emma Mudd who was our agent is an absolute asset to the branch; her communication was fantastic on the whole. Every week we had a phone call from her on a Wednesday, we knew what stage we were at with the sale process and what we could expect going forward. We also advertised with another agent Arnold and Philips who in comparison were absolutely terrible, I’d avoid them at all costs. Brigfords sold our home in a few weeks we didn’t get the asking price we wanted but we wasn’t to far off given the market we felt like we had done really well. I sold my 4 bedroom detached house with Bridgfords Chorley and what a pain free experience this was! Louise and Stephanie did a fantastic job and if I had 10 houses to sell in the area, trust me I would not go anywhere else!!
It was quite remarkable that they sold my property in less than a week with an immediate 1st viewing even before the photos and advert were fully published. They made the process extremely easy and this was not the first house I sold so I knew it's never that simple.
After the first meeting with Louise, I knew she was not giving me a sales speech when she said she could sell my property very quickly and she had several customers waiting that would be immediately interested. I love honest and straight forward people, Louise did not let me down and her claims were 100% accurate, this is something very uncommon these days.
I also have to thank Stephanie who conducted the 1st and only viewing we required. She kept me informed at all times and it's the first time ever that I didn't need to chase a company to give me an update about X or Y. I found my agent Sam Fast and accurate, extremely helpful and friendly and I was in the house within 2 weeks!! He understood my difficulties in filling in forms, and without hesitating he helped me fill them in.
plus he sent gentle reminders via email when I had forgotten to do something due to my neuro disability.
He made me feel extremely comfortable about my disability which is rare.

After deciding to leave a different estate agent who had listed my property for over 6 months with no success and terrible service all round we were contacted directly by Louise in the Chorley office. Louise offered a home visit and within 2 days our house was on the market and viewers had been booked. This was an absolute breath of fresh air for me and my partner compared to the service we had experienced with the online estate agent we had previously been with.
Bridgfords in Chorley have provided me with a truly first class service throughout the sale of our property. I cannot fault their determination, the effort they put in to proactively sell a property is second to none. The property brochure and the online listing that Bridgfords produced were of excellent quality, and the photographer they provided to take pictures of the property was an absolute gent.
Big thanks to all those in the office who have helped, Louise, Emma and Laura have looked after us in a friendly and professional manner since day one. Phone calls are answered within 2 rings, and we have had regular text updates/phone calls keeping us up to date with what is happening with the property. My only regret is not choosing Bridgfords in the first place, I cannot recommend them enough. Big thanks once again!

Katie and Lyndsy went above and beyond to make our experience of renting a house smooth and enjoyable. From initial viewing with Katie to corresponding about paperwork, finances and little hiccups along the way (nothing to do with Brigfords), we felt looked after, valued and like they had our best interests at heart. There are plenty of other letting agents in this area, but I can honestly say I would only use Bridgfords.

I have dealt with many Bridgfords branches through work, along with various other estate agents, and I've found them to be top quality, and excel in customer services! I have been renting a property with Bridgfords for the past 3 years, the initial process of finding a property and signing agreements etc was made easy by the staff at Chorley, they were very helpful and friendly. Since then I haven’t had much to contact them for but they do check yearly that everything is ok and on the one or two occasions that I have had to ask them for help they have resolved any issues promptly and enthusiastically. Having suffered in a relationship with my previous letting agent I have found bridgfords to be a breath of fresh air.

We chose the Chorley Branch as our late Mother had long standing connections with Banks and Solicitors in the town.We did consider other Agents but liked the positive and enthusiastic attitude of The Manager and her staff.Equally important was the in-house connection with the Conveyancing Company recommended. The early sale was achieved from the considerable interest in the property generated before the property was ready for market.Price achieved from a seamless process with the Agent managing bids from a number of parties.Email updates really helpful.Calling with 2 bottles of Champs as a Personal thank you.!!

Not a very positive response to providing the service they offer, Enquired about 2 properties and after looking into one of the properties in a little more detail found the description to be misleading as it did not state that the house was on the main road but inferred that it was in a pleasant cul de sac and when I brought this to the attention of the agent she said take it up with the council as it was their responsibility, I duly cancelled the viewing as this was not what I was looking for and would not have booked to view if it had said this in the description, The second property was still booked but was informed that Bridgfords would telephone me with the time of the viewing , waited and waited but no phone call , I telephoned Bridgfords and they said there must have been some confusion and the tenant hadn't got in touch with them but they should have kept me informed if they if they valued my custom and would have found this to be professional being that they are trying to let properties.

Let a property via Bridgfords, what a mistake. Initially they were ok but soon starting overcharging for repairs which meant that in the end I arranged my own repairs at a more realistic price despite being charged a premium fee by Bridgfords. They also took ‘fees’ for unnecessary work, like a HMRC return which was completely incorrect and not required. I managed to get this fee refunded after consultation with my accountant. Rude staff and you can’t even talk to the accounts department as they don’t take calls !! You rarely speak to the same member of staff twice. The tenant was really fed up with their service too so all in all a bad experience. I would not recommend there are much better letting agents out there.

I recently put my house on the market with Bridgefords at Chorley and was very impressed with the service they provided. They offered good advice and listened and acted on what we wanted. They carried out all the viewings at our property; organised an open house event (where perspective buyers were given appointments for viewing) and kept in regular contact, updating us and giving feedback. If I ever need an estate agents again in the future I would definately return to Bridgefords and can wholeheartedly recommend them.

The manager Lyndsy MCGlade is one of the most ill mannered people I have ever come across, Iv paid my rent on time every single month , I have let numerous people in my property on numerous times , for photos, for repairs, for gas checks ... for the last month iv been working a full time job and had a very ill family member who actually died today, so I wanted to rearranged the visit from today to next week, even brought the death certificate, she was very rude to me and about me to my boyfriend! I have maybe rearranged 4 times the most in the last 3 weeks! Lots of hidden charges.. renewing your tenancy, they charge you for reference , I would really be careful when choosing brigfords in chorley! Katie was very lovely when I was moving in , but overall really unhappy !

We would just like to say how professional all the staff were at the Chorley branch, especially Simon and Louise. Nothing was too much trouble, even when it came to things to do with the sale of our old property in Stoke, (which was meant to be handled by another branch). Simon was constantly having his ear bent by myself and my partner with regards the purchase of our new home, he never got annoyed at the amount of phone calls or emails he received from us. We have now been in our new home for almost 4 weeks and we would like to say a big thank you to all involved in Chorley, would definitely use Bridgfords again, but wont as we are not moving again.

Delighted with the enthusiasm of all the team involved in selling my property.
Viewings were arranged very quickly and the property was included in an open viewing within a week of being on the market.
What could been a difficult process due to other parties involved, the sale went through as scheduled due to their persistence and hard work.

Katie and Sophie are brilliant!!! A property I was looking to rent fell through at the last minute, leaving me with less than a week to find somewhere to live. Most agencies I contacted seemed very sceptical about being able to process the relavant credit checks and references in less that 3 weeks...computer kept saying 'NO'. The staff at Bridgfords understood my situation, sympathised and seemed unperturbed by the challenge being posed. After offering me a range of properties, all meeting my specific requirements, they bent over backwards to enable viewings. A week later I moved into a beautiful property, having been fully credit checked and referenced in less than 2 Days! Happy Tenant, Happy Landlord! I would not hesitate to use this company again!
