Hannah made my house happen, it was solely down to her and how hard she pushed for it to go through, it was her consistency, her diligence and her unbelievable level of dedication of ensuring the purchase of my first home went through.
Hannah, if you’re reading this, I wish I had the words to express how grateful and appreciative I am, I will always be in your debt, you’re the best, I know.
I have never had such an incredible service, it honestly felt like I had a hotline to Hannah and anytime there was a millimetre of progress, Hannah would update me.
Where do I begin with this absolute dream team of individuals who work at the Bridgfords Walkden branch.
All the things that you come to expect from an estate agents, communication, professionalism, friendliness they already excel at.
Where the team truly come into their own is how much they care. I remember coming in after having my offer accepted on a property, they were just as happy as I was as. I was so pleased to share that moment with such a lovely bunch of people.
John did my viewing on the property, right away I knew he was the guy to trust and no question was a stupid question with him, if you’re reading this John, thank you and keep up the great work.
Kelly organised my viewings, I never, ever felt rushed on the phone, even though I knew they were extremely busy, and again, no question too many. she would consistently have great conversation with me and would be absolutely on the ball with letting me know about new properties in my price range coming to the market. If you’re reading this Kelly, thank you very much.
Hannah has been brilliant as the sales negotiator throughout, always a phone call away with if I had a question or needed help with paperwork advice. We ran into an issue with the seller, and within 24 hours of Hannah notifying me of a potential issue, I was back in the Bridgfords office discussing potential options.
These people care about you, if you’re thinking of selling or buying in the area, give these guys a call first.

First of all I want to say a massive thank you to Hannah Renshaw for getting everything done so quickly since she took over in July. Everytime I needed anything she was very helpful and quick, she would give me update even though she haven't heard from anyone yet, that action really reassuring and not been ignored. Compare to the poor communication that I received from Kelly Doolan when she was dealing with my property, I would email her and never hear anything back and when I finally get hold of her it would always be the same response which went on for months, until I approached again in July realised was taken over by Hannah and with her extra effort she made the process so much quicker and easier. Therefore my five stars are for her only.

Relief!! me and my partner(with Son & dogs) just bought our Home {after years of renting after having to sell own then!}.

I recently sold my property using Bridgefords, I chose them solely based on the fact they were the estate agents that initially sold me the property. I was given an initial price for their services which was highly competitive. I had already moved out of the area and the company was very accommodating when arranging viewings of the property in my absence. The pictures they took of the property were excellent and the level of advertising really helped me get a quick sale.

Such an unprofessional branch in walkden representing an established estate agency. Rude and unprofessional staff with a ‘not arsed attitude’. No consideration for buyers and there communication procedures are terrible; they do not return requests or voicemails and when you ring up they just put the phone down. Estate agents like these should be heavily regulated and assessed due to their services and taking advantage of markets!!

Completed on our sale today, after just 5 weeks!! Bridgfords have been great from start to finish. Whilst their fees are slightly higher, they are worth every penny. John came out to do the valuation on our property and really knew his stuff and the area too. He advised a price higher than we were expecting but we trusted his judgement and it worked, the house was under offer after just one open day, a week after going live online. From my first inquiry about a property right through to completion, the team at Bridgfords in Walkden were fantastic.
Mike was incredibly personable from the first call and always kept me well informed at all stages throughout the buying process. He went above and beyond for me on completion day even following up at the weekend to check everything was ok after the sale. Thank you Mike.
Other members of the team John and Karen were also incredibly helpful whenever I called the office.
If you are a buyer or remortgaging, I urge you to also use the services of Suzanne from Countrywide based in this office. She has been an incredible support for me as a first time buyer. She is knowledgable, kind, attentive, reassuring and incredibly proactive.

Quite simply don't waste your time. Bought from Bridgfords 12 months ago and had a good experience; must have been luck. Came to put a property on the market this time round, we had poor quality images taken (grainy and washed out), 4 viewings in what must have been a month (2 of which were 'investors' - even I know the property is too expensive for investors), a buyer who tried to put an offer in prior to viewing and we weren't even informed, and to top it all off we had a sale fall through due to an unqualified buyer. Fortunately we don't have to sell, so we're taking the property off the market. Literally *the* worst communications ever - sorry Walkden branch, this won't count towards your 5* reviews.

Reading these wonderful reviews leaves me thinking... why aren't I getting the same treatment? Yes the staff are very nice, but I've always been the one to get in touch with them. They have rarely called me to see how things are progressing. Speaking of which, the solicitors they recommended to us are utterly appalling. Nice people, but incredibly slow. So sorry I took bridgfords advice to use them. I certainly don't feel that Brigfords have looked after us. And for the hefty fee they charge I feel badly let down. Yes, they get you a buyer, then your on your own. UPDATE. if you decide to use Bridgfords to sell you property please DON'T USE COUNTRYWIDE solicitors. Please just read the reviews and take notice of them. UPDATE 14TH OCTOBER 2020.....so my original review showed my feelings at the time. 2 years on and, for health reasons, we are moving again. We went with a different estate agency which didn't work out. My husband said let's try Bridgfords walkden again, maybe better the devil you know. I'm so glad we did use Bridgfords again. We soon had a buyer...just as we went into lockdown. We are close to completion now, and I have to eat humble pie here and say....I absolutely recommend them. I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Simply because that's the service we have received. Karen (especially) Mike and John have been so supportive and good natured. They are good at what they do.

We recently sold my late fathers house working with the team at Bridgfords Walkden. We had originally started the process when my father needed to move in to care. Sadly the first sale fell through, for reasons outside of Bridgfords and our control. They found a second buyer, but sadly part way through the sale process my father passed away. This complicated and delayed matters due to having to get probate and was not the only complication during the process. John, Mike, Karen and the whole team helped us through the process at what was a very difficult time - and we got there in the end! I would not hesitate to recommend the team at Bridgfords.

Our mortgage advisor made everything very easy & was always on hand to answer any questions no matter how big or small.
Chasing people up can be one of the most frustrating things about buying a house, but our Mortgage Advisor did all the chasing for us and made our lives so much easier.
They are very honest & upfront about any costs, which as a first time home buyer is extremely reassuring. Despite the extra costs associated with using a Mortgage Advisor, I would 110% recommend doing so as it made the process of buying our first house as painless as possible.

the help and guidance we got from Suzanne and Mike while getting our purchase / sale through was second to none, when the screw needed to be turned on solicitors and other parties they were there to do so.

Very professional service and very efficient. This particular agency seems to have a wide reach and can find a buyer quickly. I was contacted regularly and kept up to date with the sale process. It's not always easy to keep your customers happy (I should know as I used to work in the industry) but the team at this office did an excellent job.

Suzanne Wynn from Countrywide based within Bridgfords Walkden is second to none when it comes to the knowledge and expertise of mortgages.
She is very friendly, helpful and never failed to keep me up to date with the progress of my mortgage.
Nothing was ever to much hassle which made the whole process stress free, and Suzanne always seems to go above and beyond.
All the staff at Bridgfords Walkden are welcoming and it is a very relaxed environment.
I would highly recommend.

I recently sold my house with Bridgfords and I can honestly say that the whole thing was handed brilliantly. Their valuation was bang on, they dealt with all the viewings and best of all, got me a sale at over the asking price. I dealt mainly with a lady called Karen who was fantastic. First class service. The entire process went smoothly from start to finish from the estimated value of my late aunt's property for probate to completion of the sale. The house was first advertised on 25th May, viewings on 29th May, offers in, house sold on 31st July 2018. I was recommended this branch from a friend and cannot rate them high enough.
I initially contacted Mike, who was very helpful in letting us know the services that were available at bridgfords before passing me onto Suzanne.
Me and my wife made an appointment to see Suzanne who made the scary prospect of buying our first home a breeze.
Suzanne explained everything brilliantly, laying out exactly what we needed to know and how much help she would provide.
After finding the right house my wife and I were kept well informed every step of the way and the whole process went much smoother than we realized it would, thanks to the solicitors and staff at bridgfords.

23/07/18 - google wouldn’t let me write another separate review, Decided to upsize from my property I purchased off Bridgfords 2 years ago and the Mike, John, Karen and Suzanne are still as amazing as the last time I purchased a property from them, very helpful and would bend over backwards to help you, would still definitely recommend this team.
1/01/2016 - Recently purchased a property from this branch, Mike and Mel were excellent through out the process from start to finish, not sure of the names of the other staff but every time I popped in everyone was really friendly and talkative, appreciate everything they did for me and will 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a property in the area.

This was down to the dogged determination of Karen to chase things through, the expertise of Suzanne who was constantly juggling between my sale and my purchase of which she is still working on. AVOID! Office run by a very young team dealing with large financial transactions with the training of the same ilk/greed of a home improvement salesmen; fear of loss etc...
Don't be slickered by fictitious other offers by the usual creation of 'ghost' buyers!
Only a matter of time that estate agencies are run by true licenced professionals with the Scottish property system in place.

I decided to use Bridgfords Walkden, to market my property, I received very professional advice from both Adam and Mike at the branch and within just 5 days of instruction to go to market we had several viewings scheduled and one of these generated an offer that was close to the asking price and was accepted, I was thrilled with this level of service, although for personal reasons I had to withdraw the property from the market, which although disappointed Adam and Mike fully understood the circumstances.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Bridgfords as the No 1 agent in the area.
