Brooke Steel took over my portfolio a few years from other letting agents and it was a good decision. I had a number of properties for letting and sale which Nick and his team managed very professionally. It was always possible to have a chat and discuss any ideas/problems. They dealt with the finding of tenants always keeping me informed and maintenance matters in a helpful way. They seemed to have a good relationship with the tenants too which makes for a happy situation. I have now sold my portfolio and rather than deal with a high street estate agent, I simply put the sales in the hands of the people who knew my properties and their yields the best, Brooke Steel. It was a pleasure to be a tenant with Brooke Steel Estates. It’s been more than a year since we started our tenancy with them and it has been such a wonderful experience throughout the year. I appreciate the service where all the maintenance issues raised has been resolved at the earliest as possible. We also have been notified prior to any visits or inspections which was very genuine.
I would like to personally thank Nick as he was very supportive right from the beginning. I’m really glad to meet such a wonderful person. When we were nearly being homeless as the last house didn’t workout, we requested for a month’s extended stay for which Nick and team support us greatly. It was something that other agencies wouldn’t entertain. We are really thankful for the enormous support as it was a mental relief for allowing us to stay until we found a suitable house to move. We are also thankful to the landlord for offering his support all the time.
Honestly, we planned to move only because we are expecting a baby if not we would have continued with Brooke Steel Estates. We both are thankful for all your support throughout the time.
We look forward to move back as your tenants if any availability suits us in the future. Wishing you all success in future endeavours.

Brook Steel have become a very valued part of my property business since 2021. Straight talking, straight dealing, reliable, caring and dependable, just keywords that mean so much when you have property to rent that is not nearby to me.
As a landlord we are used to odd blips with house problems and tenants but I had one private tenant in 2020 who proved a nightmare and not only failed to pay rent for over a year (resulting in a very drawn out eviction) but left me with extensive clearance, clean up, redecoration and repair tasks. Nick and the team took over the property to rent once the tenant left; they organised all of the necessary works quickly and got the property ready to rent quickly and secured a reliable professional tenant who has been pain free for many months since and is still letting the house.
They have always done what they said they would when they say they will, and been terrifically reliable eyes/ears/boots on the ground for me with my property I have in Dukinfield so I am more than happy to commend them to anyone else; they are the real deal in a volatile marketplace.

I have recently completed on the sale of my house. This was my first House sale and was quite nervous about the whole experience.
My Brother recommended Nick and the team from Brooke Steel. I can honestly say they was fantastic service from start to finish. Due to the popularity of my house, I had 30 viewings all within the first week of putting it up for sale. And the eventual buyer came from the second week on the market.
Even with all those viewings the team managed to provide feedback for every viewing which was excellent.
I'd have to say the biggest thing I was impressed with was the communication. At no point did I have to chase information myself. Whether it was Nick himself Marie or Bella from the office I was provided with upto date information every step of the way.
Fantastic service, from a team that clearly love there job and genuinely look after there Customer.

Please for the love of god do not rent with this company if you are a student.
We didn't have a properly working boiler from August to December, and only got one after we got the council and a local legal team involved. The house was in a complete state of disrepair, we were told it would be redecorated before we moved in, this was not the case. The house hadn't even been cleaned, with hundreds of bugs under the beds and blood on the mattresses; we had massive mould and damp issues right through our tenancy.
At one point water started to seep through the wall downstairs and froze the house was so cold due to not having a boiler, took them months to actually fix anything and team clearly no idea what they're on about because we were told it was 'normal' not to have an electricity safety certificate for over 10 years, despite the legal requirement being 5. We did have sparking plugs and some produced a burning smell, this was fixed after 3 months.
I have talked to other students renting with this company and all the houses are in the same state! Please do yourself a favour and stay away

I instructed Brook Steele Estate the first time in 2016 and I am a regular customer since then. The service I received each time exceeded my expectations. Nick Gill was always professional, friendly, efficient and approachable what I couldn't say about other estate agents I used in the past. The whole process of selling properties was very smooth from the time of booking viewings right to the completion thanks to Nick monitoring and chasing when necessary to ensure there was no delays and both his clients (seller and buyer) are fully happy.

When viewing the property online, what we could see looked fantastic from the two pictures!
When viewing the property in person, I was telling myself "don't judge a book by its cover!". I wouldn't say it was unrecognizable - that's possibly the best compliment I could pay the building's exterior. Features not shown in the online photos were: firstly the jungle that now comes with the property - slightly inconvenient when attempting to use the path, due to the way it makes entirely impossible to use the path. Secondly, the complimentary bottles, cans, plastic bags, and believe it or not, an (almost) whole one man popup tent set up with only a few tears!
As we'd arrived on time by the minute for our appointment, we gave the benefit of the doubt for the first five minutes after knocking on the door. After the ten minute wait, we were met by a blunt "hi there."! Excited to view our prospective new home, we followed the voice into the house and up the stairs.
Not too much could be said for the flat - for the price offered online, one would not be offended! As little information was offered to us, we began to ask questions, such as checking the price was correct, finding out only now about the council tax we would have to pay, increasing the price by only around 25%. We then asked about the area, as we'd heard a slight offhanded warning recently to "never go there, you can just check the crime rates" which we took as a joke! Luckily, this was reassured when our agent informed us that "I can't really say anything about that", and that "my bad might be your good!" a little confused and unsure whether to be offended, we moved on.
Once we were settled in our questions, we resigned back to our car and our belongings. Or so we thought. Upon hearing that our car had been stolen from while in the flat for a quick five minutes, our agent was flabbergasted, speechless - all he could mumble was "oh no.".
In order to cause him no more shock, we took that as our cue to leave our agent, and our flat, for what we can only hope to be forever.

Just want to say a quick note to acknowledge the service you have provided in facilitating the letting of my property. Very quickly you advertised the property and found suitable tenants, within a matter of day’s contracts and inventories were put in place closely followed by an occupied house and the very first payment of rent.
As I ventured into landlord territory for the first time I called upon the advice of a few letting agents in a bid to put my custom their way in requesting their services but it was only once I had met with yourself that I felt comfortable with what a letting agent was about/could provide and the benefit the services have to a Landlord. With your great communication and professional manner you have managed to assuage the intimidation and daunting venture of becoming a Landlord.
