Each time we call up can't find our details and seem to forget what we have told them as soon as the phone hangs up.
Trying to get a viewing for a month now, astonishingly the house hasn't sold...
One redeeming feature is the one gent I got hold of was well informed asd gave me a detailed run down of the property but then couldn't book a viewing, this had to be done by email to the general email or though a message on Rightmove.
Backwards and non customer facing or focussed.
Avoid, if at all possible.

I recently viewed a local bungalow which was being marketed by this company. What a breath of fresh air they are. The weather was extremely poor on the day I was to view this bungalow and I was nervous about driving in the snow and icy conditions.
Seth, one of the team at Farrow and Farrow, came and collected me from my house and made sure I didn't slip or fall on the ice and following the viewing saw me safely back to my own home and didn't drive away until he saw me safely inside.

Still not got over my experience with this place.
I allowed this place to sell my house and show people around for me while I was at work.
I come home after work and found the front door have been left unlocked.
The owner of farrow and farrow blamed me and denied their staff never left door unlocked.
The owner said I left door unlocked when I never had front door key as I only had 1 key which farrow and farrow had.
This review will probably get a B-S response

Tried to arrange a market appraisal when I finally spoke to someone they promised to get back to me, they didn’t, so I rang again and was told I’d have a reply after lunch, I didn’t I rang again this time no reply so gave up and put my property on the market with another agent who sold within 48hrs. Their attitude is rude their professional is none existent. I have spoken to umpteen people since who have had similar experiences, unable to contact or ignore viewing requests.

I’m a first time buyer and have tried to view multiple properties with Farrow & Farrow. However, each time I’ve enquired I’ve received no personal response from a single estate agent which works at the rawtenstall branch. The most recent circumstance, I called the branch multiple times to book a viewing yet no answer! Emailed, yet received a automated reply a day later and then received yet another automated email to say the property had sold. With the current housing climate I would’ve thought this estate agency would be making it their priority to help first time buyers get house viewings but I have seen no such help nor responsiveness! I wouldn’t recommend.

I have tried and tried to view properties with this company and they do not return calls or emails. A new property came to the market and my son rang and emailed for 3 days then finally received an email saying sorry Sold. I tried to book a valuation on my property and after 3 phone calls with a promise of a call back i went on the market with another company and sold within a day. Their rudeness and lack of communication is disgusting. I actually thought they had closed down at one point AVOID at all costs

We've contacted the branch several times about booking a viewing, we were directed back to the website to complete a form, which was broken. We phoned again to say it was broken, they said they'd get back to us - no reply. Chased twice on email and phone, no response. Contacted the Director via Linkedin to tell them about the awful service - no reply there either. I would not recommend using them for either buying or selling. * Further to the response by the business, I would clarify, as per my email to you, that I no longer wish to view the property as I do not want to have to deal with you as a business, trying to hide behind the covid banner is not an excuse for poor service. Not being able to admit when you're in the wrong is equally as inexcusable.

Sent views without telling me, they didn't give me feedback on viewers. Rang me up to drop house price 15k and two months later rang again to drop property but had not dropped the property first time.

Well i can't fault the service i have received from Farrow and Farrow. They are very punctual and they took beautiful photos of my house. Bookings for viewings to my house were made in a way that was blocked together so that it wasn't taking up too much of my time. Emma has been ever the professional and Peter went out of his way to help me one day when i was locked out of my house and he arrived with the spare key for me.
This was all throughout lockdown too may i add. Other agents are not advising viewers to take the necessary precautions while viewing homes like Farrow and Farrow are which just shows how much they care. Highly recommended.

Of all of the Estate Agents that we have encountered locally both in purchasing our home some time again and most recent exploring marketing the same house for a potential sale, the team at Farrow & Farrow are consummate professionals and experts on the local areas. Their knowledge of the market in the areas that they serve is almost limitless and invaluable.
We bought our house which was being marketed by Farrow & Farrow and they made it much easier than we were anticipating. We were lucky in that the house we chose was vacant, but even so when it came to allowing us plenty of time at the property every time we wanted to see it, they bent over backwards to allow us the time we desired. First home probably should probably have seemed a lot more daunting than it was and we put the ease and relative simplicity down to these guys 100%.
We have never sold a property before, and the time that they have taken to make sure that we are comfortable and fully armed with everything we need to know is to be highly commended. No question is too small or silly for them to answer, no phone call goes unanswered or unreturned and the same goes for emails too. They remembered us which was an absolutely amazing touch as they surely must see so many people every year, and it has been a few years since we last had dealings with one another.
Do little things like a brew and a chat matter? They do to us and it just makes what is a very personal process remain nice and grounded. Always professional but with a proper humble, person-to-person approach. And they’re super-realistic about what is and what isn’t achievable. We’re about to go on the market and yet again what we thought was going to be a very stressful and daunting process has in fact been anything but.
Of course there are haters out there if you read reviews like we do, but honestly the whole team (we reckon we must have spoken to all of them by now) couldn’t be warmer, kinder or more professional.
We wouldn’t hesitate recommending for either buying OR selling hence us going straight to them when we were initially thinking of moving.

When rang in to book appointment have been advised that latest they can do is 4pm so we booked appointment for 16.00. We were running slightly late due to traffic so at 16.02 I rand office to advise them about it and been told that it's OK. We got to address at 16.08 and knocked on the door but there was nobody there. I rang office again and lady on the phone advised that agent couldn't wait any longer as she had another appointment! So what do you take customers contact details for? Why agent didn't ring us to advise????? Not very professional Poor customer service

July 2018 Attempting to buy from Farrow and Farrow was a harrowing, time consuming, money wasting and upsetting experience. In this day and age I can’t understand that a company would treat you with such disregard with no thought to the consequences. Is business so easy to get that customers just dont matter?
I experienced an arrogance and rudeness from office staff and from the two directors. The female director put the phone down on me mid conversation. And the male director who I only spoke to once was just rude full stop.
After speaking to my solicitor 2 days ago I decided to view another property.
Today I advised Farrow and Farrow that I was pulling out and gave my reasons. They were not happy and after several call backs from them I received a final one from one of the office staff who accused me of lying and stated that I only pulled out of the property because I had found my DREAM property and that my explanation in her eyes was total fabrication.
I was shocked and flabbergasted and hence this is the reason for my review today.
It would take wild horses for me to deal with them again.

Shocking service, I went to a view a property a month ago which I stated I wished to apply for. However they have never got back to me however luckily I found a better house for me with another company. The whole viewing process was a rush as the lady showing me around said she only had 10 minutes as she has two other jobs to get to as they book so many in and was talking about how over worked she is.
They could of at least kept me informed through the process.

If you want a rental from these greedy agents then you better have credentials of a raf pilot.Rude and obnoxious staff who do not un derstand the words ''poor credit''.Expect the salt of the earth when it comes to rental valuations quite amusing when they look down on you for a ccj and wont let a 40 plus couple working with a family rent a 500 a month terrace when we have just come out of 750 a month detached property we had been in for 4 years.

We sold our house with Farrow & Farrow and they went above and beyond. We had to ensure that our sale went through before a recent government change in law meaning that anyone buying a second property would be hit with an additional 3% stamp duty tax charge. F & F helped us by quickly identifying buyers from their extensive database who would likely want the type of property that we were selling, contacting the potential buyers and promoting our property. Once a buyer had been identified, F & F kept us updated on a daily basis as the impending deadline for the new legislation was approaching. F & F also contacted the solicitors to ensure that there were no delays in the sale process. Thankfully the sale went through in time. We purchased our new property through F & F and again the process was handled professional and speedily to ensure that we were not hit with the additional 3% charge saving us a lot of money. I would highly recommend Farrow and Farrow and say that they are the top of the game in my opinion.

I have rented a property out through Farrow & Farrow over a month ago. Property rented within a few days, however has taken over a month to receive paperwork and inventory details. They have failed to send these to me on numerous occasions via post & email and ignored numerous emails from myself chasing them on a regular basis. Poor communication & service.
