Whilst renting, Brooks were constantly difficult throughout the whole process. They were difficult to get hold of, slow to come back with any real answers, didn't seem to know a lot of basic information, and on a lot of instances were quite rude. They let our landlord illegally send people into the property with less than 24 hours notice, and when we reported this, they did nothing about it. Our check out report wasn't filed until weeks after we moved out, and they tried to take money for things that just weren't true. Unprofessional and incompetent - I wouldn't touch them again with a barge pole. Avoid at all costs.

We have nothing but praise for the service we received from all the staff at Brooks Estate Agents. Their communication was excellent, and they showed the utmost professionalism throughout. They were always available to offer very good advice and to provide reassurance. The last time we moved house was 27 years ago so we needed help with solicitors and removal firms. Again, Brooks were there for us and the companies they recommended were also extremely good. So, a huge and well deserved "Thank You" to the whole team. It goes without saying that, we would highly recommend Brooks Estate Agents.

I would totally recommend Brooks. It's a smaller family-run agency and benefits from that, in the sense that you're not made to feel like just another customer. James and Jake, in the Streatham office, dealt with our sale and they couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and forthcoming. They were quick to respond and went above and beyond to provide advice, reassurance and updates. We're so grateful that our recent sale went through, especially during such turbulent times - that had a great deal to do with the fantastic service that Brooks provided. We can't thank them enough!

I bought my flat in Streatham from Brooks nearly 9 years ago and had a positive experience with them. I then used Brooks to rent out my flat just over a year ago and they found me great tenants and managed the whole process really well. I also used Brooks to sell my flat recently and again Rob, James and the rest of the team were professional, friendly, helpful and responsive. Really pleased I used them as they were commercial, pragmatic and took a lot of the stress out of the situation. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Don't use them for renting. They are absolutely awful with repairs while you stay at the properties they manage and they steal your money when they have to return your deposit. They took more than £600 of our deposit and we left the property much better than the way we found it. We left no damage to anything in the flat and we cleaned it to a better standard than at check in but they charged us £77 for removing a few items from a shelf, £50 for two pencil inscriptions and many other deductions that I doubt they are even legal.
