Sadly I did not have a good experience with Jacksons Streatham. I was promised weekly updates, but rarely got them, often having to chase them myself to find out what was going
on. When I did speak to the branch manager he was always very pleasant and enthusiastic but seemed clueless as to why the property was not selling. They appeared to get a very decent number of people through the door to view but were unable, over about 16 weeks, to elicit a single offer. They overvalued the property initially - which I was sceptical about from the start(I am not a property selling novice) - but dropping the price did not seem to have any effect. I appreciate the market has been very unstable over the past few months, but we missed a very valuable window at the beginning of the marketing period in which the flat should have sold quite easily. Ultimately I felt obliged to spend thousands of pounds to get the flat 'staged' (it was empty of furniture) in order to make it more attractive to potential buyers - and they still didn't manage to sell it. Some feedback from the agents who were actually showing the property would have gone a long way to helping me understand why it wasn't selling, when equivalent flats in the area were. I felt I had done everything and more and was demoralised by the whole process. I am still struggling to understand what went wrong, so am not able to apportion blame to any one person - it just feels like a systemic failure at that branch, as I know people who have used Jacksons in other parts of London and got better results.
Despite feeling quite depressed about the prospect of the flat selIing at all, I subsequently switched agents and my new agent secured an offer within the space of two weeks. I am still wondering how that could have happened, and am annoyed that I did not go with them in the first instance. You live and learn I guess.

He was fantastic and very easy to talk to but also informative. Renting a property is very scary but he was genuine and to the point and very friendly, it became very easy to trust him and to feel relaxed.

Have you ever been told to never trust an estate agent? I have.... This could not have been more wrong from the first email I received from James Collins! Everything he showed me was 100% relevant to my search. All advices were genuine, personal and professional. Buying a property on my own is a big scary thing. But James made me feel in complete trust and I am so incredibly grateful for it.

We had a good experience selling our flat with Jacksons. Initially they overestimated the value of property which left us thinking it was to secure our custom. We had to reduce the value twice in order to sell. Having said that, we were selling at a bad time when the market was flooded with similar properties to ours so overall we were pleased to be able to sell at all. The team at Jacksons definitely worked very hard to secure viewings. In particular, Peter James and Alex Heard were especially helpful. Overall, would certainly recommend if selling in Streatham.

Amazing letting experience with Jacksons. We are Americans freshly moved to the London, and while we have rented plenty of places in the US, we had little idea of how to navigate the process in the UK (with a dog too, plus during a national lockdown). And after attempting to contact multiple properties with multiple estate agencies and getting little to no help or response (and getting quite frustrated and discouraged), we luckily found some properties under Jacksons and sent and enquiry, and was contacted back by Keeley within hours. She set up an appointment to show us 4 lovely properties; one we offered on that same day that unfortunately didn't work out, but Keeley, Nick, and everyone at Jacksons were committed to finding us the perfect flat. They set up viewings for us with other Jacksons offices and every agent we met with had the same level of helpfulness and professionalism, and sure enough, they found us the perfect place, helped us step by step through the process, and have been so gracious to help answer all our crazy questions. We are excited to call Streatham our new home and will certainly work with Jacksons again (if we need to!). Thank you to Jacksons for the help and experience!

Me and my girlfriend have just purchased our first house. As many of you will know this can be an extremely stressful process and ours was no different. The only shining light in this process was Peter at Jacksons Streatham. He was always willing to talk on the phone and was able to have a laugh and provide valuable advice when various mortgages were withdrawn and our solicitors mysteriously disappeared on the completion day (apparently they were on a 3 hour lunch). Jacksons were great and Peter in particular made this process bearable. Very professional and I would recommend Jacksons (we will be using them if/when we come round to selling).

Doing another review 3 years later as just in process of selling our house and buying another again all through Jacksons. George and David in the selling team have both been fantastic, always available, and helpful. Both George and David have taken us to several properties at short notice and have been very accommodating around work/childcare schedules. The number of viewings we had so very quickly I’m sure led to our quick sale . In terms of the purchase they have a good grasp of what you want so dont end up taking you to unsuitable places, which is a waste of time for buyers and sellers. Was really impressed again with communication, professionalism, breadth of knowledge and general support and advice making it all much less stressful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again
David Fernandes was brilliant , from the beginning to the end. We have just sold our flat with Jacksons, and at the same time brought a house with them. They say buying and selling at the same time is one of the most stressful things you can do, but David helped to make it seamless and easy. He was always available even around our long working hours, and kept us in the loop about all important things. He definitely went above and beyond what we expected from our estate agent and we had a much better experience in comparison to when we brought our flat with a local competitor a few years ago. We decided to leave our rented property as Jacksons has failed to check and notify us that the property was being sublet to us. The freeholder got in touch to say they had recently found out and wanted us to sign a deed of covenant which would make us liable for costs up to 75years, our family property solicitor informed us this was the incorrect document but Jacksons didn’t have a clue and pressured us to sign. The breakdown of trust was solidified when they incompetently sent us through a tenancy renewal document with the incorrect rental fee. The property management team were excellent during our tenancy but upon moving out the tenancy exit process went on for weeks after we were told the flat was being repainted to the cost of £1000 out of our deposit, this was fabricated by the agents, the work was never carried out. We were organised and kept detailed, time stamped photos of the flat condition from moving in and out, we kept every correspondence of flat maintenance in writing and after mentioning tribunal they gave up withholding deposit after 9 weeks. Be thorough in your record retention. We would never use Jackson’s services again.

From start to finish, the whole team at Jacksons have been fantastic however Jordan has gone above and beyond! We had an initial conversation with Jordan and explained what we were looking for, after visiting a few properties that weren't quite right he contacted us with something that was brand new to market explaining that it was exactly what we were looking for and he wasn't wrong! There have been some difficulties with paperwork from my side but he has remained patient, professional and helpful throughout the whole process (he also has an impeccable collection of suits!)
If you are looking for a property in Streatham, I cannot recommend Jacksons and Jordan enough!

We started a bit slowly because tbh the asking price was too high. But once that was sorted I could find no fault. And as things got closer to the end, the key member of staff on our sale was as good as we could possibly have wished for. . Kudos to sales director James King, who initially valued the place for probate and then responded super-rapidly when we put it out to tender with five local agents several months later: he called (at 6:20pm) within half-an-hour of our email and had a full recall of all the features of the property – we were impressed. (The other four agencies approached took between a day and five days to respond.) James came through with a very clear and confident sales strategy and, despite a promising initial offer falling through, he and sales team manager George Evans rapidly retrieved the situation: George and sales support manager Davina Alexis-Noel closed a sealed bid deal process with considerable efficiency and charm.

DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE. Very poor experience - all they care is about getting your deposit and tying you in then leaving you to fend with the landlords. Requested a joint tap for health and safety reasons for my children. They refused, then we said we'd leave, they then agreed - 3 days before we move in date. I requested to see the replacement sink, manager said they are too busy and wouldn't have time. They don't care about people and there circumstances. Do read the contract in detail - there agents say one thing and there manager another. They sent me and email on 28th October at around 4pm to say they'll do the repair. Move in date is November 1st - haven't seen the replacement sink - Ridiculous!!

I would strongly recommend avoiding letting from Jacksons. Throughout my tenancy communication on their part was extremely, needing several reminder emails and calls to get any meaningful response on issues. We were left without a dishwasher for several weeks, after a Property Manager failed to respond to emails. The same Property Manager then took multiple emails and phone calls to act on a severe structural mold problem, and never responded to our requests for advice on whether the mold had an adverse effect on our health. The tenancy has now ended, and it has been over three weeks and two reminder emails since asking for further information about deductions to our deposit.

Secondly on another property, James sent this 'URGENT' letter to me, saying that he was working in the area. If that's urgent James, I do worry.
When I went into the office to speak to him, his staff didn't have many good things to say about him.
I wouldn't trust the guy as far as I could throw him. If you're selling or buying, I would avoid Jacksons if I were you. You might lose a sale due to his arrogance.

As tenants we have found Jacksons not only to be completely useless but willfully unhelpful - they don't care about their tenants and lie through their teeth at every opportunity. They've withheld information from our landlady on several occasions and we've had to expose them which has been very embarrassing for them. They'll say anything to make you sign the tenancy agreement then go back on it instantly.
I strongly advise you don't use this letting agent, and you certainly shouldn't believe anything they tell you about the property you're viewing.

I was looking to rent a flat in Streatham and Sofia helped me. She was wonderful! When my initial viewing turned out to not be what I was looking for, Sofia took me to a different flat that hadn't yet been listed online which was much more to my liking!
I ended up going with a different flat elsewhere, but Sofia was so knowledgeable and friendly and fabulous to chat with! I really felt that she was prioritizing my needs and what I was looking for in my new home. My only disappointment is that Sofia isn't my estate agent at the flat I'm moving to -- I'm definitely going back to Jacksons and Sofia if it doesn't work out! Terrific service and wonderful people! Sofia is the tops!
