What can I say!
I went with Carter Remy after putting my house up for sale with another Estate Agents, where I had no joy.
James came round for the initial valuation and was so helpful, explained everything clearly to me and said they’d be with me every step of the way.
Boy was he right.
Within the first few days it was sold.
Les was available at anytime for any questions I had and always reassured me on anything I wanted to know..
Allison was there throughout the whole process right up until the end, chasing up other Estate agents and solicitors in the chain.
Always pushing for a speedy answer.
Craig even came to my house oh my moving day to collect my keys so I didn’t have to drop them off.
I cannot thank you all enough for what you did for me.

I’d planned to speak to a few agents before deciding, however as soon as Emmie and I chatted, I immediately warmed to her as she was lovely and answered all my questions with ease. We met at the property and went through changes that needed to be made and Emmie took it from there - she liaised with all the contractors which took the burden from me and went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted to ensure the tenants could move into the property within the timeframe. Emmie is professional but equally very approachable and just so lovely to deal with. I cannot fault our experience with Carter Remy Estate Agents so far. Our flat sold originally within just 15 days of going on the market! I was really impressed with the marketing and the quality of the photos — It really made our flat stand out from the crowd. We unfortunately lost our buyer due to a change of their circumstances. But Les and his team got us back on the market immediately without hesitation and communicated his thoughts on how to get it all moving again, which really reassured us in that stressful but very short period as we are back under offer within just 10 days of losing our original buyers. As first time buyers it has been an absolute pleasure working with Carter Remy, from the initial viewing with Aoife who was really friendly, to bagging a better mortgage rate with Callum who worked way beyond the typical working hours to speak with us due to our working schedules, a second viewing with Les to take measurements etc so we could be prepared before the moving date was really accommodating, friendly, helpful & approachable.

Contacted Les in a bit of a pinch after having issues getting a mortgage sorted with a broker that was recommended to us. We had been working with this broker since 1/4 and by 13/6 there was STILL no mortgage offer. Les put me in touch with his wonderful brokers and Callum called me that evening. By midday Thursday (16/6) WE HAVE A MORTGAGE! The seller gave us a deadline of Friday (tomorrow) and Callum was completely transparent and proactive throughout to ensure everyone knew where we stood. No BS and totally honest about our limitations and timescales, so we didn’t mess the seller about anymore. Fantastic agent who clearly knows talent when he spots it! Would not hesitate to use Les or any of his wonderful colleagues again

What can I say other than thank you for a brilliant job carried out by Les Carter in the recent sale of our family home. When we first enquired about selling the property Les stood out amongst the other agents we spoke with as he seemed a lot more genuine and interested to help and we could see how much he loved his work, he was convinced he could sell the property for around £10,000 more than the other agents were suggesting and sure enough after just 1 open day he ended up getting us a buyer agreed at the higher price which has enabled us to buy the exact home we wanted due to having extra funds. Thanks to Les and we will be recommending Carter Remy to other family members when they need to sell a property in Basildon.

Les Carter is a truly exceptional person to deal with when selling a property , he recently put my property on the market after it had been up for sale with one of the high street agents for 5 months and he managed to sell it for my full asking price within 3 weeks of marketing, Les is honest and transparent which hasn’t been my experience with estate agents in the past and at no stage did he pressure me to rush any decisions unlike other agents.
